Finally put the finishing painting touches on one of our new props for this year. Now the hubby gets to push a few hundred pixels in it.

If you have driven by you might have seen a few decorations in the yard. We decided to go back to old school this year(can't be totally dark), and still show our Christmas spirit! We just have traditional lights on the porch and a few things in the yard. Thank you everyone for your love and kind words. I have a list of other homes that also put on a wonderful display for you to visit.

Hello.
We are sorry to announce we will not be able to have a Halloween and Christmas display this year. I [kelly] have been taking care of my aging parents. Then I [kelly] had some health issues.. after that was dealt with, our septic system went out and needs replaced and the septic caused a flood in the house. So it's been one thing after another of unfortunate circumstances. At this point we can't make it happen. We typically start the process in July. There are repairs that need made, and we wouldn't be able to give you all the display that you love.

We are back up and running 100% if you were out last night, you probably (how could you miss it)noticed the tree was less than perfect. That issue has been resolved.
Also we are trying something for the next week that we think you will like. We are allowing you to pick the song you want to see/hear. Our playlist has been updated to include more songs, some are Christmas and some aren't. But it's technically after Christmas, right..😉

The way this works is our new playlist will be running like 10 songs, but.....if you go to our page, https://lightsonmilton.remotefalcon.com/remoteFalcon , and you have accepted the location verification, you can pick from almost all of our songs from previous years. There is a limit on how many songs that can be in the queue at a time, and please share the fun with others waiting. This will work like a jukebox in that the songs will be played in the order they were requested. This is something we have played with ourselves, but you will be our official test subjects..😁
As of now, only those of you reading this, know how to make this work. You are free to share however. Let us know if you have issues and what you thought of the experience.

Soooo..... we ARE running the lights tonight. However the big tree will remain bunched up till tomorrow. It is still standing however we are not brave enough to open it up just yet. there is still to much wind and don't want to risk having something catastrophic happen to it so we couldn't use it the rest of the year. Everything that is supposed to be working seems to be cooperating otherwise. Santa is here working hard to get things delivered tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience but as soon as the wind dies down a bit we will have everything running 100%.

We will not be running the lights tonight 12-23-22. As long as the wind dies down for tomorrow, and we don't have any damage, we will be back up and going for Christmas eve. Keep in mind that will be the last night Santa will be "practicing" in our front room..
Wind is our kryptonite so last night we secured the tree out front. This thing works like a sail, so we poked holes to allow that West wind to blow on through.. :) As of this posting, everything seems to be holding. So stay warm at home if possible, and we will see you another evening. We will update here if things change.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. We don't take donations,and we don't expect anything for what we do. We just ask for others to pay it forward and spread some cheer.
We had a family that brought us this wonderful surprise. It's the little things like knowing we are spreading the holiday cheer are things we truly enjoy.

We always seem to have pictures of our display in blue or purple. Well.....here it is in red. 😉😁

Also we are happy to announce that as of last night(late), we were able to get the text feature working on the South side of our North Pole. It is slightly different from the past as it should respond quicker, and only scroll your text once. The number is still the same (419) 702-0006.
For those unfamiliar with this part of our display, it's simple. Just text your message to 419 702-0006, and whatever you sent, will be displayed across the South(facing rt 6)side of the pole near our mailbox. Please be mindful and keep your messages respectful.

Remember to always view the display facing North(enter from rt6). We can not have the road blocked! Please do not watch with your vehicle completely dark. If possible just have your parking lights on and your foot off the brake. Do not block our neighbors driveways and please don't litter.

Stay tuned as we plan to be adding another cool feature in the near future we think you will enjoy.

As mentioned before, there are some things we can only work on at night, so bare with us as we continue to "up our game". There may be times that the display will do something unexpected as we work out kinks.

We haven't been out much with candy canes and interacting with all of you just yet as we have been hard at work inside and behind the scenes, but worry not, as we will be back to business as usual soon.

We are doing some testing tonight, so if you happen by and see the same song playing in loop or things stop or start unexpected, this is why. Some things we just can't test during daylight hours😉.
Our plan is to finish up a few loose ends tonight and tomorrow, and have a some songs playing tomorrow evening.
