Are you thinking about doing the florals for your wedding on your own? Here are 4 tips to make sure your bouquets are photo-ready:

• Practice arranging before your big day to perfect your technique and trial which flowers will last the longest

• Prepare your arrangements the day before to allow time for any adjustments and to ensure freshness

• Make sure the flowers are well-hydrated before arranging. Keep stems in water until you’re ready to work with them

• Store your flowers in a cool, dark place or a refrigerator until just before the event to keep them fresh
