Do you know how to swim? It’s never too late to learn! No matter your age! 🧜🏼‍♀️ Most aquatic facilities have group lessons as well as private instructors who absolutely love teaching all ages how to swim! Rogue Mermaid LLC can help recommend a few places in southern Oregon that can help!

Swimming lessons are an essential layer of protection, but layers only work when used together.
To keep our little ones safer, we need to combine multiple safety measures, including:
- Barriers: Secure pools and water areas properly using > 48-inch fencing with a self-closing and self-latching gate.
- Active Supervision (3Cs - Close, Constant, Capable): Always keep a watchful eye on children in or near the water.
- Water Competency: It’s never too early to get children in Swim Lessons!
- Life Jackets: Use them when necessary, especially in open waters or when boating.
- Emergency Preparedness: Know what to do in an emergency or if you see someone in distress in the water.
Together, these 5 layers offer multiple points of protection for our loved ones. Let's ensure every splash is a safer one!

Shello from Mermaid Rowena! I’ve been busy swimming about and working on some fun new things!
I’m excited to announce Rogue Mermaid LLC is now offering two new programs at the brand new Rogue X in Medford, OR!
We are so grateful the administration at this beautiful facility partnered with us to provide bookings for party’s and aquatic educational seminars for all ages!
