This misty wedding day with these two and their families at Lost Whale Inn was so incredible~
I love how couples lately have been sharing parts of themselves and their journeys with their friends and family. This has been through maybe foods from travels to their favorite places, memory tables of images growing up, their favorite bands (this past weekend I saw my first dueling pianos). So much love and thought!
I love each and every one.

Go that extra mile for people~ not because every person will thank you for your extra work~ because they might not realize or care. Not for tips or monetary gain. Not for glory or fame.
Do it because sometime somewhere a person might do it for you or someone else. And that is how we all in this life- in some way- finish ahead ❤️

National Beach Day is today!
So I’m going to celebrate and share a couple of my favorites from this session.
Such a beautiful evening with these two. It ended in incredible food and champagne under the stars I am so looking to photographing their wedding day next September!

This day with these two was such a blessing. With their close family and friends they said I Do along the Rogue River.
The smell of plumeria was with me throughout the evening from the lei I was gifted. It reminded me of our own wedding when we eloped years ago to Hawaii and I hand picked them to put in my hair.

IT’S ME ALY🌲 Here’s my and I am so thankful for being voted top photographer in Oregon for 2019 for 🥳
This is where I live and photograph right here in where the 199 takes you to the and meets the west coast at 🌊
I decided to market to the Redwoods for photography and for photography several years ago because I am so in love with the magic of the forest and light.
The forest light can be a tricky beast at times and I am thankful for the years of experience and shooting under all conditions in there. I can now offer people coming in from all over the country and world an amazing experience.
I choose to keep my editing colors truthful to the environment with rich greens. Many of my images in the trees speak to my art background roots because I hand paint with brushes the light and detail to breathe life and magic back into them that the camera does not capture.

* I've been rather slow on here this year with posts~
The short version is this year has been full of a lot of pain, therapy and finding alternative ways to be able to shoot each special day. I have not let the car accident from last year stop me.
*I am so grateful for those who follow along here and shown support and have send referrals my way. You all marketed for me during this time and you all are appreciated more than you know!
As I continue with my weddings into October I will still be accepting some senior and family photography. I will be taking a break during November and December to re-group and update websites and things that did not get done while taking care of our Pops (my two brothers dad) this past Winter when he passed away. “You are every reason, every hope and every dream I’ve ever had.”
