The College Town House, built in 1855, was a gift in 1944 to Denison University from Mr. Huffman, alumnus of the Class of 1927 and long-time Denison Board member. Huffman’s intention that the building be used “to benefit both the College and the town and help maintain a close relationship between Granville and Denison.”
The mission of the College Town House is to maintain a relationship of goodwi

It is the further intention that patronage of the College Town House be open to groups and persons of all affiliations, whether their purpose be civic, social, professional, cultural, religious, political, or avocational; and that the House be managed in such a way as to maximize access, utilization, and friendly benefit to members of the Denison and Granville communities.
