Antonio Ayestaran has been a professional chef for 15 years. (American Culinary Federation) apprentice graduate, a certified chef de cuisine and certified pastry chef. Antonio, along with 6 other chefs, have represented the state of California at the largest cooking competition
in the world; the Culinary Olympics in Germany, in 1996, 2000 and 2004. Antonio received Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for his efforts. He has been cooking and managing food service operations since he was 18. He opened and managed Holiday Front Street Bakery and consulted in the opening of Rivers Restaurant in Redding, CA. Most recently Antonio was the executive chef at Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley, CA for seven years. He has now ventured on his own and is the chef/owner of Antonio Ayestaran Custom Catering and Personal Chef Services. Antonio prides his business in working closely with his customers and creating a custom experience for any event. Antonio and his staff work closely with some of the largest organizations in town, including Music in the Mountains, Hospice, Empire Club, Welcome Wagon, local wineries, and local Rotary clubs. Happily married for 11 years and the proud father of two boys, Antonio is a family man and knows the value of family which often helps him relate to his customers and employees needs.
