Just a reminder that applications to be Town Councilor are due by October 17. There's an opening on the Gray Town Council, so if you are a Gray resident and think your skillset and expertise could lend itself well to public service, why not apply?

Town Councilors fill a few important roles in our local government, including enacting ordinances and policies, approving appointments to boards and committees, and conducting oversight of the budget, among other things.

If you travel on Brown Street in Gray often, you might have noticed a small landscaping project in front of the Parish House. There's a bit more to it than meets the eye. 👀

In this video for Gray Community Television, Laurie Keller of the First Congregational Church of Gray explains what she hopes to accomplish with this humble project.

Due to the Excessive Heat Warning and pending thunder showers, The Town of Gray’s Public Safety has recommended The Longest Day 5K be postponed. The new date is Friday June 21, 2024. The same race day schedule applies. We apologize but we need to put the safety of our participants and volunteers first. We hope you will understand. We can not offer refunds but know that 100% of the money raised goes to supporting Libby Hill.

Due to the schedule change, race organizers are in need of additional volunteers if you can lend a hand. Show up around 5:00 and head to the registration table.

Thank you.

When discussing redevelopment, street design isn’t what most people think of. Our streets are often built to completion, so this kind of incremental approach seems alien. But it's exactly what cities need to improve their economic, social and environmental conditions.
