We're beyond honored to share that Chef Julie has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Shared Kitchen Summit in Cleveland, OH this November— the nation’s leading event for food system leaders, shared kitchen operators, and innovators.
This is a BIG deal. To our knowledge, she'll be one of the only people from Montana to receive the scholarship — and possibly one of the few Montanans— in attendance. That means she'll get to represent our state and bring back the concepts, strategies, connections, and inspiration that can help shape the future of our food systems here at home.
The Summit is packed with high-impact sessions and experiences, including:
✨️ Breakouts on financing, pricing models, and building sustainable food businesses
✨️ Panels on circular food economies, food justice, and attracting entrepreneurs
✨️ Workshops on kitchen design, food safety, and retail growth strategies
✨️ A hands-on bus tour of Cleveland’s top shared kitchens
✨️The Golden Whisk Awards at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, celebrating nationwide innovation.
While her $927 registration is covered, we're requesting funds to cover travel, lodging, meals, and educational resources (approx. $2,400 total). Julie's Confirmation is due by Sept 1st...
👉 Why it matters: The insights and connections gained will directly benefit central Montana. We'll create a detailed report and host a workshop to share best practices, resources, and opportunities with our food entrepreneurs, developers, and partners.
