Connection. It's a word I live by and this photo represents that word in all the ways that I love. Right now is a strange time with the coronavirus slowly spreading throughout the world. It's forcing a lot of us inside to self-isolate, which for someone like me (who's an extrovert), is pretty difficult. I work from home on most days, but I really, really love getting out into the world. Whether it's networking, grocery shopping, meeting with clients, having lunch with a colleague or just walking my dog, I am fueled by these types of connections. I have to admit, since self-isolation, I have never wanted to hug a stranger more in my life (which is not something I do on a regular basis)! However, I'm trying to find the good in all of this.
You're able to read this because of technology, which is keeping us connected. I can text, call or video chat with people if I need to, even some people on the other side of the world. We are able to stay connected without physically being able to spend time with one another, which I'm very grateful for. So, I propose we hug the people (and animals) we're self-isolating with a little harder and a little longer and appreciate the fact we can stay connected in so many ways. And one day, hopefully soon, I will be able to dispense free Boggs hugs to everyone!
Stay healthy and safe my friends. Sending all my love your way. โค๏ธ
