What a crazy Saturday, road trip to the round barn outside of Twin Bridges for Paxton and Peyton’s wedding and reception. I knew it would be a great party but I think it even exceeded my expectations. Congrats to the Newyleds, wishing you a lifetime of happiness together, even when the Griz and Cats play.

What is the deal with similar country songs always coming out at the same time? Not sure if it’s a coincidence or not, Cody Johnson’s “Dirt Cheap” and Justin Moore’s “This is My Dirt” are about the exact same subject matter, someone coming to try to buy a farmer out and the reasons farmer says no. Both good songs, I think Dirt Cheap is better. Jon Pardi wrote a song that Dillon Carmichael did in the last couple of years called “Man Made a Bar” and then this more recently Morgan Wallen and Eric Church do a song of the exact same title. Very similar lyrics, Dillon Carmichael’s is better to me, but I’m a huge fan.

So what are some songs that are out there that are pretty much exactly the same?

Congrats to Joelle and Ross on becoming husband and wife over the weekend.

They had a most beautiful set up with the decor and then I used my lights on the back wall, sadly the overhead lights ended up turned on for Photo purposes and changed the ambiance of the room a lot as you can see.

It was a fun night, and thanks for allowing me to DJ for it, wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness together.

Looks like my July is still open for this summer. If you and your guests want to have a great time at your reception, if you need sound for the ceremony and if you want to add some darn cool lighting, then you’ve come to the right place. Price is for sure not everything when it comes to choosing your wedding DJ, and like everything, you are getting what you pay for. So why settle for anything less than the best?

There is no bigger honor as a DJ than being chosen to be a part of your most special day. It is very important to me to do the very best that I can for the brides and grooms. When you hire me, you are choosing me, only me as I am the business.

It’s not a small undertaking doing setups, setting up lights where they look best, making sure I get the announcements and names right when asked to do so, trying to keep a timeline flowing, having all the music right for the special dances, having a great selection of songs for dinner and cocktail hours, and then keeping the party going, and keeping people dancing. You are trusting me to do all of this.

So when you are searching for a DJ, and a company that spends money on all the wedding sites advertising and gives you a lower price, just remember that you are a number to help the bottom line.

You are not just a number to me, I want to be there because you have trusted me to take care of all the things listed above. I’m not there because somebody told me that is where I had an event to do.

Another busy weekend has come to an end, Friday night PGEC Prom and Saturday did the AFJROTC ball at Great Falls High. Small crowd there but they had a good time. I want to thank the kids at both of them that helped me load in and out, sure makes it easier on me. Next off to Billings next Friday to do a wedding reception.
