📣 🗣️ CALLING ALL DANCERS AGE 4-18!!!!

COME AND JOIN US FOR OUR 9th SEASON OF COMPETITIVE DANCE! 🔥 We are looking forward to all of the new faces, boys and girls ages 4-18!! Tuition is $100.00 per month.

We start season 9 workshops and classes tomorrow Wednesday May 15th!!! 🔥Embers (ages 4-8) from 5:00-6:00 pm and 🔥Inferno and Blaze (ages 9-18) from 6:00-8:00 pm. Team placements to be held August 15th!!!

Workshops/classes will be Wednesday and Thursday evenings. (See above age groups and times) Please have your dancer wear black shorts and a black t-shirt or tank top, and black socks for practice and don’t forget your water bottles!

Private lessons and tumbling classes and prices to be announced.

We had an AMAZING 8th season🔥 and we can NOT wait to start the 9th with new friends and family!!!

First competition of the season was a success!!! So proud of all of our dancers!!!

We came home with a lot of hardware!!!

Diamonds (1st place) and Rubies (2nd place) for all of our entries!!!

Mini Embers received a Diamond on their group dance and a first place overall along with category winner and a judges award for synchronization.

Our Junior Inferno team received a Ruby and a Showmanship award on their group dance.

Our Teen/Senior Blaze team received a Diamond and first place overall and category winner.

Solos and duets were AMAZING AS WELL! All bringing home Diamonds and Rubies!!!!

🔥MEET OUR TEAM BLAZE COACH AND STUDIO OWNER!! 🔥

Melinda Jurasek has owned Illusion dance Co. for 9 years. This will be the start of her 8th year of competitive travel teams.

Melinda has over 20 years of coaching experience. She was a cheerleader for the GF Gladiators football team, coached an after school program dance team, coached for the GFH cheerleaders and then took over the studio owner/coach position at Illusion Dance Co. She enjoys being able to coach with her daughter Payton and sister Kristal.
She has a passion for dance and coaching! She considers her dancers family and loves watching their growth through the competition season.

MEET OUR TEAM EMBERS COACH!!!

Kristal Thunstrom will be our newest coach to the mini team Embers 🔥Kristal is a 4th grade teacher at Riverview. She has been dancing since the age of 8 and was a cheerleader in Highschool. After graduating High school she coached the GFH cheerleaders for 5 years as well. Before she moved up to 4th grade level she taught kindergarten for 14 years!

Being a 4th grade teacher now, she is super excited to have the opportunity to work with our younger dancers at Illusion Dance!

She is a wonderful asset to our little Embers! WELCOME!

MEET OUR TEAM INFERNO COACH!!

🔥🔥Payton Jurasek

Payton has been a competitive dancer for 8 years. She was a competitive gymnast for 4 years. Payton is taking the reigns and coaching this year for our junior advanced team Inferno 🔥 She is an amazing choreographer! Her choreography has won best emotional ex*****on and many 1st place trophies. She dances with passion and brings that passion to her coaching! We are so happy to have her bringing her love for dance and sharing that with our teams!!!🔥🔥

💃 🕺Illusion Dance Company will be holding their 2023-2024 TEAM PLACEMENT workshops Wednesday, August 16th from 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 17th from 6-8 pm and Wednesday, August 23rd from 6-8 pm and team placement/tryout Thursday, August 24th from 6-8 pm

Our four teams will be on 🔥 fire this year and would LOVE for you to be a part of our dance family!!!!

Embers- mini’s ages 4-8

Sparks- Junior ages 9-12 (beginner level)

Blaze- Teen/Senior ages 13-19

Last day of competition for us! They did amazing! Elite High Golds for both of the teen/senior group dances!!!! So proud of the accomplishments our whole team has had this year!!!!

First day of Thunderstruck under our belt!! They did amazing on their solos!! 3 Elite High Golds and a High Gold!! They have worked hard and it shows!!!

Day two starts in a couple of hours for our Mirage team Dances and Zander’s solo!
