We got a first look from our architect this week at the facade project we are considering. What do you think?

This is the west facing exterior wall that will include an extensive masonry project, the addition of garage doors, lights, an entrance that allows all of our guests to enter with ease, regardless of physical abilities.

We are so proud to be part of the amazing State of the Broadway District Presented by American National Bank event this morning. While we were disappointed we couldn’t attend in person, it was fun to see Brian Johnson share a little preview of The City Club via the Live Stream.

We look forward to welcoming our neighbors and community members into our space when we open late this summer.

This photo was taken in 1914 of our building. At that point, is was already 40 years old and had reinvented itself at least once. Originally built in 1873, it was the Albert Platten Whole Produce Center (I joke that it was the original Whole Foods). 20 years later, it was sold to Felix Lurquin who renamed it as “The Fink Building” and also built the building next door.

Today, both buildings are in the middle of massive restoration projects. As we start the demo process, I will be sharing our journey and any fun findings we come across. If you or anyone you know has pictures of the interior over the years, please send them my way!

We had the most incredible opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends for our own engagement party and showcase the “before” at the City Club.

The Green Bay City Club is scheduled to open in late Fall of 2024 for Weddings and other events. Follow us on our journey to rehabbing this 150 year old gem of a building as we turn it into something special!
