🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Venue Olde 41
Olde 41 was one of the very first things we booked—and I knew from the second we stepped on the property that it was the one. It had exact look I was going for: rustic but not a barn, and filled with beautiful natural sunlight. The ceremony space, with its trees and creek, felt like something out of a dream. It was the only venue we looked at because it instantly felt right.
But what truly made this venue unforgettable was Marnie, the event coordinator. And calling her “incredible honestly doesn’t even come close to describing the impact she had on our day. From the very beginning, she made us feel like we were her only clients—even though she’s managing so much behind the scenes. She answered every question ( even while on vacation!), and she made the planning process feel so smooth and supported.
On the wedding day, Marnie was our calm, steady anchor. She made sure every single detail was taken care of—including making sure my husband and I had food and drinks during photos(a small but HUGE thing that made us feel so cared for).
One moment that will stay with us forever; I had boutonnières wrapped in fabric from my husband’s late mother’s wedding dress.
When Marnie handed it to him and gently told him what it was, he broke down crying— and she just wrapped him in a hug. That wasn’t part of her job, but it was exactly what he meeting that moment. It meant the world to him, and it’s something we’ll both never forget.
This review was the Hartford me to write, because even words like amazing, spectacular, and dream come true feel like understatements. We are so incredibly grateful for Marnie—for her time, her heart, and the way she brought everything to so beautifully. I’m genuinely going to miss working with her. She became such an important part of our wedding journey, and we’ll never forget the care she showed us.
