in 2008, as in a dream, whilst playing with mounds of satin ribbons and lacy ranunculus for a dear friend's English country wedding. A recurring childhood dream of mine was of a pristine mountain meadow (not unlike said English country), filled to the brim with lupine, Queen Anne's Lace, softly shaded wildflowers and a crystal clear stream winding its way through the bright green grass. that I am able to "play" with flowers is like this dream. I grew up with my mother's beautiful California garden shaded by sycamores - I've always known plant and tree names, and have honed my love of all things floral and natural over the years into delightful!. My mantra is simple… never force a flower (or a laugh), let it instead show itself off in a flourish of petals.
