Now that the dust has settled from an incredibly busy weekend, I wanted to share an experience I had yesterday that reminded me, yet again, how God continually shows up. But first, a little backstory…

It’s been a long but good week of back and forth to the county fair with my daughter who was showing her lamb.

My husband was out town for the weekend so I drove his truck in order to haul Smokey (lamb) back home on Saturday.

I also had a wedding this weekend and had my schedule mapped out perfectly to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, on time, while still allowing me to get flowers to the venue.

Ok, backstory over.

I’ve just dropped off my daughter at the fairgrounds and am loaded down with beautiful flowers, headed to drop them off.

I make it about 2 miles…💥BLOWOUT! Not ideal given the roses, hydrangeas & lilies along for the ride in the 92 degree heat! I quickly pull into the closest parking lot and once I park and get my bearings, I realize I’m in the parking lot of Oak Street Automotive! You’re joking?! 🙌🙏🏻 I mean, really, what are the odds??

I get out to check the address so my amazing oldest daughter can come get these flowers and save the day! 😩😰 Turns out the business was closed! 😳…more panic…

As I’m pacing the parking lot, stressing that the truck AC won’t be enough to keep these flowers from wilting, an angel of a man walks out from one of the bays. He just happened to be there and the owner, Kathy, pulled in just minutes later! 🙌🙏🏻

While they were checking to see if they had a tire to fit this truck, I explained the wedding flower situation to them and they graciously unlocked the office so I could move the flowers into an actual air conditioned space until my daughter arrived! Again…🙌🙏🏻

After some searching & discussing, they found a solution for me and set to work fixing up the truck!

Kathy invited me into the office to wait where we talked and talked about business, life experiences, children, grandchildren and allll the beautiful mess that is life.

I teared up a few times while we talked because I could actually see how God was working right then to take care of me!

Kathy talked on a subject that I had prayed about this very week and God used her to show me that He’s got me…He’s got my business…He’s got my children! Although I still press panic unnecessarily, He comes through in His timing, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! 🙌🙏🏻

So at the end of it all, the beautiful wedding flowers remained beautiful & arrived on time (I can’t thank you enough Ryleigh Velazquez), the truck was repaired without the damage to my bank account I was preparing for & my new friend Kathy and I sat with our miracle worker while He reminded us both of his goodness!

I cannot recommend Ms. Darst's Cottage Bakery enough!! I promise you she’s out here makin cakes better than ya Mamaw!!
I sincerely wish I would’ve thought to take a pic before we tore into them but trust me…they taste even better than they looked and they looked pretty dang good!

This was such a beautiful wedding with a show stopping view of Greer’s Ferry Lake! What you don’t see is the chaos from the WIND! 🤣 It was comical! Thankfully things calmed down and the wedding was perfect!
