Come upstairs to the restored 1896 opera house auditorium where you will see our "Laugh-in" set, WCC style!! RAGBRAI people will get to participate in a fun joke filled time! Speak lines through the opening windows and doors!

At the Cumberland Rose Players meeting Wednesday night RAGBRAI was brought up. In 2009 when Greenfield was an overnight stop, CRP had a Laughin show on the first floor of the opera house (where Ed & Eva's is now). Some of you are old enough to remember Laughin!! :)

Phil said, "Why don't we do it again?" So....We are setting up the same set - with the windows that open - but two changes: It will be set up on the upstairs stage of the restored Warren Cultural Center and the actors/actresses will be volunteers from the audience!

The show will be free, but hopefully attendees will drop some money in a basket to support our local community theater, which still hasn't recovered from the Covid years.

You'll want to view photos and videos of the tornado damage courtesy of Wendi Lane, Doug Welsch and Dan Dickinson. These will be in the gallery space of the lobbies.

Update: Small Town Printing has graciously offered to loan us their canopy!! Thanks to them and to all who have tried to assist with this.

The WCC is looking to borrow a tent awning similar to this for next Tuesday's RAGBRAI to sit right outside the door on the sidewalk.

We will be serving watermelon cucumber refresh cups from there. We plan to have an upright refrigerator under the awning, so we're looking for an awning at least seven feet high.
