10/15/2024 OUR PANEL OF BRIDES DINNER EVENT...WAS GREAT! Our Members and guests had a wonderful meal at Salem Glen Country Club. And our program featured brides and a MOB, right there to answer our questions. Our folks had plenty of them, and they didn't hold back with their answers. We are so proud to provide events like this to the wedding community - anything we can do to help you succeed! Thank you SGCC and the great Syvella Coomer! We've got a team ready to take on any small hiccups of your day, prepare logistics so hopefully they're not any but we also come with a huge network to align you with local vendors to create magical memories... it's one of the benefits and why we've been a Triad Bridal Association member for as long as we can remember.

WEDDING MUSIC. Good advice from a long-time expert…and charter Member, Corda Entertainment.

As owner of Corda Entertainment, I get asked a lot of really great questions about music for weddings. Lately, many couples are inquiring if they should use wedding musicians into the dinner hour. If you think about most restaurants, there is usually some kind of music playing that provides an atmosphere. It’s rare that you would find yourself in a nice restaurant without some kind of background music. It’s never so loud that you can’t talk amongst yourselves but present so there is an ambience flowing throughout the room. Our most popular option is using a classical string ensemble for the ceremony hour, a Contemporary flare for cocktail hour, and finishing with beautiful light classical music for the dinner hour. A jazz trio or quartet has also become very popular for the cocktail and dinner hour. We are happy to help you determine what the best option will be for your most important day! What a great time on Tuesday 5/28 at our Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel luncheon. 45-ish Members and guests enjoyed wonderful food, networking... and the brilliant Andrew Clement (shown here celebrating) won our down-to-the-wire trivia contest. See photos of others who WISH they could be Andrew as they try to determine, for instance, the official drink of North Carolina (it's milk!).

We are privileged to present these events to the local wedding community. Next event for our Members and invited guests: Tuesday, July 30 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro-Airport. Thanks again, Rebekah and Grandover staff for a lovely luncheon.
