This past Saturday we celebrated such a beautiful love. Meredith Halestrong and Jordan Halestrong have such a pure, selfless love and it’s inspiring. Jordan’s vows were so beautiful and so poetically written, I don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere.

What a beautiful wedding this weekend!

A little over a year ago I had the honor and pleasure of coordinating/decorating Kyleigh & Garrett’s wedding. Yesterday I got to help make her dad and step mom’s dreams come true!

Amanda and Brad are the sweetest people! Brad keeps her laughing and Amanda keeps him grounded. They are beautiful souls that were destined to meet.

This one was super special to me. The father of the bride, Gene King, was my first boss. He hired me at 15 at Seagrove Pottery. Gene taught me many of the job skills I have and use in this profession today.

We aren’t all about weddings at For Your Moment Events.
We can help you with your baby showers, birthday parties, grand opening events, and more.

Here’s a few birthday party tips for those moms like me that are running around like crazy during their child’s birthday party to make sure everything fits into that 2hour window you’ve given yourself.

1. Pre-scoop the ice cream! Scoop it out and put it in cupcake holders and place it back in the freezer. Then when it’s time to serve just pull the tray out and everyone gets a scoop!

2. For outside parties, put the rain date on the invitation. When having any outdoor event with no option to change to indoors in the event of rain, I always suggest preplanning the rain date. This helps to ensure your guests availability should the date change. Having the rain date on the invite gives proper notice should you have to reschedule the party.

3. Don’t open presents at the party. It isn’t rude to your guests if you allow your child to open them at home where they are more comfortable and can enjoy them as they open them.

3. Don’t do it alone!!! If you feel a planner isn’t needed, PHONE A FRIEND! Birthday parties are an exciting time. As moms, I think we often get lost in the hustle of planning, prepping, and executing the party that we forget to live in the moment with our little growing one year older. So having someone who is already prepared to help and take over in those busy moments is a huge plus!

Happy Friday!!

As a wedding planner, I am always sharing some tips, tricks, and how to’s with my clients.

The first tip I always share is to create a wedding email!

When you first get engaged you are contacting all types of different vendors, signing up for different wedding websites, and maybe even planning to do evites in lieu of paper invitations.
If all those emails and subscriptions go to your general email it can get overwhelming to sort it out.
By creating a wedding email you give yourself some brain space. You know everything going to that email is for the specific event in your life. When creating the wedding email address be sure to give your partner access, this helps for them to be in the know as well.
Also, big extra perk… once the wedding is over just close out that email and your general inbox isn’t being flooded months later with something you no longer need. Ho

Thank you all so much for your support this year of my small business.
