Well... It's that special time of year again where I get to make my favorite announcement! I am heading back to The Strip for Barrel and Flow Fest on August 9th!!! I can't believe this will be my 4th year at America's #1 beer fest already!
I'll be looking for a new team this year. So if you would like to join me for my favorite yearly event, let me know! Cooking and people skills are a plus. And one spot will be basically just a beer runner and photographer! 🍻

Sometimes... Choosing each week's menu can be a little nerve racking. Then other times, it's extremely easy because somebody has asked me to do something special for them! Join me at All Saints Brewing Company in Greensburg this Wednesday evening to taste the fruits of this very special birthday request! If you are a fan of all things pickled, this is your night! Happy to you all! I was just reading an article (https://www.nga.gov/stories/martin-luther-king-table-breaking-bread-troubled-times.html) about a photo shoot done at Dr. King's dinner table and how important good food and diverse company was to him. It made me realize that there was a time when eating with people of a different race was such a rare and dangerous thing.
It made me feel so blessed to provide you all a vehicle and space to be able to do that now and not even have to think or worry about it. So it feels weird for me to ask you all to do this but... I want you all to absolutely think and worry about it over these next few years. Please sit down with people who do not look like you, don't live the same circumstances as you and have different daily worries and challenges than you. Listen to each other. Like, really listen! And while you are listening, make sure to add their thoughts and concerns to your way of thinking and decision making.
MLK was never president. He was never able to affect change from the Oval Office. But what he could do was sit down and break bread with people of other races and plan how to make the world better. And to me... That's pretty damn special.

Thank you for your patience as we have worked to determine the future of Tattiebogle Ciderworks. After taking several months to assess the best path forward for our family, we have decided to close our tasting room permanently.

This is a very difficult decision for us. The support of our customers / friends has made the last four years an amazing run and we are proud of what has been accomplished with Tattiebogle and the close knit community that resulted. We are blessed to have met so many wonderful people and made many lasting friendships.

Unfortunately, health, age, and competing priority challenges have led us to make the decision to close.

We wish our customers, musicians, and food trucks all the best for the future and look forward to seeing you at one of the other great Laurel Highlands Pour Tour locations!
