ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!!! We have the dates for Kingdom Come Festival 2025! It is always the third weekend of June, but this year that will NOT be Father's Day weekend! It will be Thursday, June 19 - Saturday, June 21! Mark your calendars NOW!!
Some great folks started this fundraising idea as soon as KCF '23 ended and brought this to KCF '24 full of change to donate. (Might be a great idea for anyone else who wantst to help out!!) When I took the picture, the word CHANGE jumped out at me! The "change" that they brought was used to bring about CHANGE in the lives of so many. CHANGE in attitude, mindset, music style, the way we view others that aren't like us, and hopefully in our hunger for a stronger relationship with Jesus. It's just incredible to see it all happen! If you have never been, you really need to come out!
Also, we have been told that there is a rumor going around that we (Always One Ministries) are not going to be running KCF and are handing it over to others to run. Let us assure you all that nothing could be further from the truth! The call is as loud and the vision is as clear as it has ever been! We are still tweaking things here and there, but there are things that will ALWAYS remain...KCF will always be Jesus-focused, ministry-minded, ROCK-heavy, family-centered, outreach-oriented and FREE!! Chris has been very, very busy networking with other non-profits, ministries, and organizations to get the word out about A1M and what we are about. Because of that, we are sorry to say that we will not be having PIT FEST this year, but we have every intention of bringing it back next year... bigger and better than ever!!

Hello KCF family. Just wanted to take a moment to let you know that Family Worship Center (one our sponsors since 2011) is hosting a nice fireworks show and family event tomorrow night. You need not attend or be a member of FWC, just come on out and enjoy. From 7-9 there will be bounce houses, face painting, balloon stuff, corn hole, hamburgers and hot dogs, from 9-10 as people move to the parking lot and lawn for the fireworks, there will be popcorn and sno-cones….. then shortly after 10 (normally) a great fireworks display. So come on out. It really is not far from where KCF is held.

So blessed by all our photographer friends they are simply the best there is.

Last weekend was full of great things, many “God moments,” lots of prayers and smiles and reading some of the comments… it looks like we had a good number of people accept Christ. We had some great testimonies sent to us and we appreciate them so much. We love knowing what this means to all of you, attendees, band members and even some of our workers…..

When we post all of these thank you notes from the donations that were given, it is not just words… the gratitude is genuine and real. There is no “human” way for us to do this without divine intervention, and without so many generous and willing people to help.

This year our budget was higher than ever. The thermometer tracking our finances stalled weeks ago. This year it was noticeable that some churches and organizations increased their donations. Some who had given, gave a 2nd and 3rd time. Many of YOU gave several donations…..

When Extended Hands, Inc did the donations match and took care of concessions it took a huge chunk of the burden off of us. And when you all answered the love offering and used that QR code to donate, or donated at the A1M table, or bought the Tshirts….. a miracle happened….

We wouldn’t say just how much but some of you were following that thermometer and asking how we were doing. You must have known…. Things were bleak…

But this is God’s show. To everyone who gave even a dollar, we thank you because of all of you we can post this.

From the bottom of our hearts …from all of us at KCF/A1M … thank you all for making this year another year that changed many lives forever.

KCF was a ton of fun this past weekend! We hope you enjoy these miscellaneous photos from this past weekend!

(Jay here) and tonight I want to start by saying that KCF has been blessed to have had partners to help us run a 2nd stage. This has allowed many more bands to participate, and has given attendees some options. This year we had the honor of working with The Subculture Community Stage and Godward who ran the Subculture stage.

They did a GREAT job. It was not just about the music, which was top notch, but the stage itself hosted some devotionals, there was a good amount of ministry going on, as we heard from people inside and from the photos.... AT KCF2024, there were a lot of God moments, inside the Subculture stage, just like there was outside of it. It is not certain how many, and the number doesn't really to us on earth but, many people accepted Christ at this event, and numerous seeds were planted. The Subculture Stage is just as much a part of this as anyone and we salute your work.

And to the small army of workers from Godward, you guys did do a fantastic job when i worked with you on Thursday for the kick-off show, and I am certain you worked your tails off the next two days... We appreciate you all and thank you for operating that stage for us this year!

If you loved KCF there are some great events coming up you should definitely look into.... on 8/2 - 8/4 A Mighty Noise is a Christian music festival being held at the Howard County Fairgrounds ....

July 19-20 Chains Unchained Festival which is absolutely amazing... and one year I hope several of us can attend and offer to serve...

Our super good friends from Joyous Noise Ministry are hosting their annual Rock On Water on September 7, and I have to say having been there before, that is one of the absolutely coolest places to have a concert ever.... shout out to Scott and the gang, we miss you and are still praying for the back.

September 27-28 the Broken Bottle Productions have a lot of familiar bands taking the stage at Broken Bottle Music Festival 2024..

Make sure you look into all of those events and keep them on your radar.

(Jay here...) Churches and connections. Facebook asked me what is on my mind and right now, that is what it is. This year is unexplainable. The shows were great, the crowd was great, the community was great, God moments were everywhere, people were loved on, encouraged, and prayed for. A good number of people made the decision to follow Christ, and somehow... (i'll let one of the others talk about it more) but you don't know the fiscal miracle that had to take place and did.... but all of these incredible and life changing things cannot happen without help.

If you are one of the people who made the decision to accept Jesus Christ, or maybe you re-dedicated your life to Him. Know this, getting plugged in to a local church will very much help you as you start this new walk with God. And some of you have not gone to church in a long time, or do not have a church home... i will give you a few churches here that you could or should pay a visit to...

First I will mention Family Worship Center which is not far from the HCVVO where we have this event. FWC has been with us since 2011 and was one of the first to believe in it. They have supported us in every way possible, including sending volunteers which were much needed this past year. Pastor Bradley is a great teacher of the Word, and this is a welcoming church. All of these churches I mention support KCF and what we do, so you can feel safe that they would love to see YOU come and check them out.

Woodland Church of God, has been a great partner of ours for the last several years and has even hosted Pit Fest in their parking lot despite knowing the neighbors might get upset.... Pastor Alley is a true one-of-a-kind guy who has opened his arms to us, as well as his doors to A1M/KCF to host other events like the Danger Room shows (and previously mentioned Pit Fest) it is located over on Webster across from Caseys.

Finally I will mention Heartland Church... I have seen one of our former bands, Consumed By Fire, play there, and I have seen many of their members show up as volunteers here as well. In recent years they have increased their help to us, and this year even sent a food truck. It is located in Sharpsville, IN.

I cannot encourage you enough, if you do NOT go to a church, do NOT have a home church, or just recently accepted Jesus, these are 3 places that support what we do, support the types of people we are reaching and would love to see you in attendance.

*IF you are one of those who recently gave your life to Christ, would you let us know in a private message. We would LOVE to know more about you and hopefully can get you some resources for your new walk in Christ...

Relesser & Autumn’s Descent share band members and tonight they shared a set on the Subculture Stage. That stage is on a break until after The Protest finishes their set. Then they’ll pick back up again with a set from Theoterran before we head back to the Main Stage for tonight’s headliners, Ashes Remain.

PITFEST 2023 was amazing! Every band was incredible and put their all into their set, and our co-emcees, Becca Sugg and Zahha, nailed it! But, it wouldn't have happened without our awesome God and so many wonderful people!
We are so appreciative of Jammin Shue and Soundscapes Pro Audio who provided sound, lights and stage crew for the show along with all of our other sponsors for PITFEST 2023…Family Worship Center, Wel-Don Pots, Guarding God’s Anointed, AD Windblown Media Records, Dry Master Carpet, and our friends at the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization…and our friends who partnered with us financially to make this event happen!
Tammy Chalfant and Cara Herron, the hospitality crew, were phenomenal as always.
Amber Dockery was fantastic at the check in table and all of those who helped greet attendees with a big smile at the Welcome Area were crucial! Those included Nilda Penaflor, Susan Markley, Judy Roberson, Mason Morris, Joe Nelson (in his Oompa Loompa outfit) and Deb Moore.
Huge thanks to Phil Petty and his organization, Extended Hands, for sponsoring concessions, and his crew that helped serve up the best pulled pork nachos around… Jenn Petty, Gabrielle Bassile, Julie & Abigail Deem.
Also, we can’t forget Deanna Bousum and Ryan Davis for their help with the A1M table, as well as, Jay Karp, David Leyda, Angie Leyda and Derek Chalfant who kept everything under control, helping wherever the need arose and the PITFEST Core Council for their efforts in planning such an awesome day!
THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!

Only 6 days away!! The return of A1M's The Danger Room!

Our Story

What started as a small event with 8 bands in 8 hours back in 2010, has exploded into an incredible FREE, 2-day Christian rock event that features 29 bands from all over the country, in a wide variety of styles. It is 2-days of music and ministry with NO charge for admission, NO charge for parking, NO charge for primitive camping. You just bring your tent and money for concessions and band merchandise...

Over the years hundreds of people have given their lives or re-dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ at these events. KCF, is not exactly like every other festival...it is slightly more intimate by design. We love that our band members are out and about an so easily accessible. On the stage a band may be able to reach you, but by ministering and praying with you off the stage, they can change your life. It is not uncommon to look around you and see a handful of band members praying. They are praying for the Veterans who host us on their “Healing Fields,” they are praying for attendees who sought them. They pray with the volunteer staff, and heck, they even pray for each other.

KCF has been called a big “family reunion” because we believe that all our bands and fans are in the same body, we are all family. It really is a unique 2-days that I believe is a life changing event for someone every single year.
