MOOD BOARD time! I went Vintage Gothic with this one and had a lot of fun with this dark pallet. These colors feel so romantic and moody and I obviously went for a black dress! I wanted the gothic feel without being too "on the nose" with the theme so I avoided the "till death", coffin and skull type decor and opted instead to evoke the theme with color and feeling. What do you think? ⁠⁠

Time for another Mood Board! Today I went with a theme of Vintage Chic by incorporating antique pieces with a timeless look. I love the idea of using pieces in your wedding that are preloved and could even easily become a part of your home for years to come. Hey everyone! I see a lot of new people so I would just like to reintroduce myself! My name is Tiffany and I am a wedding planner in Greenville, SC. When it comes to weddings, I love non-traditional aspects and vintage decor, but I truly believe that each couple should plan their wedding in a way that is true to who they are and shows what they love! I have worked many weddings, and you would be shocked at how often perfectly good, gorgeous flowers are THROWN IN THE TRASH at the end of the night. This happens because often times, family and friends are already taking so much stuff home with them and simply don't have the room for the flowers, too. The way to combat this is to let your coordinator or someone you trust know what you would like to do with them at the end of the night. Your coordinator can easily tell guests to take them on thier way out or invite vendors and staff to take them. Or you can assign a friend to gather them and take them to donate the next day. ⁠⠀

I know that many weddings have programs given out to each guest, but do you know what happens to 99.9% of those programs? They are left on the seat or floor and then thrown away at the end of the night. Talk about a waste of money and paper! A super simple swap is to use a sign that is displayed at the ceremony entrance and then at the reception entrance. This way all the guests can still know the general timeline of the day, but after the wedding, you can reuse the sign for home decor, or you can resell it!⁠⠀

Everyone loves a good charcuterie board! I got to design this one at a wedding and I couldn't believe how much fun it was to make food look beautiful! I believe it is important for a wedding coordinator to have at least some skill in many parts of the wedding day, just in case. ⁠⠀
