Good-morning everyone!

We would like to start off by saying sorry for the delay as we know everyone as well as us are very excited for some news. With that being said we have decided to start planning for the 2025 race. We have decided to not host the event in 2024 for a long list of reasons but we will keep it short. Lindsay and myself worked very hard to make the event happen but with date conflicts, trying to make it work with other events including the world championships. The event venue has been booked solid so we were left with few choices. We feel the event absolutely needs to be held at a facility like the Ike so we are actively working on this for the future to secure a date that can work for many years to come. We are also working on adding help and more sponsors to the event to help spread out the work load of the very few people that helped us in 2023. Ross has agreed to build the track again so we hope to continue that into the future as well. Sorry if this isn’t the news some were hoping (including us) but for the event to grow back into what it once was and the caliber we want it to be we feel the extra time to plan and work things out is best for everyone involved.

We enjoyed this series and hope you racers did too! On to planning for what’s next in 2024 💪 we truly hope we gave the racers a great time and helped with some track funds in the process.

Couple quick things as we are fast approaching the event.

We will not have a mobile hobby shop on site, I tried but everyone was pre booked so please plan accordingly. I have fuel and tires for sale in a very limited quantity as well a lot of spare parts servos and those things. If you find something you need come see me and I’ll help you get your hands on it.

The building will open Thursday around 2 to start setting your pits up again. If you are earlier then that please reach out to me.

Friday you must check in with Lindsay and Kelly at registration before you hit the track, CHECK transponder numbers and make sure they are right Friday we will do no silent check in on sat for quals this is the responsibility of the racers to make sure it’s correct with us and the race directors.

If the class is not full we will take sign ups Friday (cash or card) and get you into a spot.

All chair and table rentals you must see Derek, Ken, James, Lindsay or Kelly. It’s 10 dollars for a table and chair for the entire weekend.

rv spots you must see the Ike staff for this not us we are taking any money for that. And it MUST be paid.

We are approaching our busiest month of the RC racing and event year, as AMain Hobbies and our ProTek RC and EcoPower brands will be sponsoring more than 50 races and events in September. Highlighting the slate of amazing activity will be our sponsorship of the 2023 IFMAR 1:10 Off-Road Electric World Championship at Hobby Action RC Raceway in Chandler, Arizona September 9-16. We are looking forward to some fun and fast action in September and we encourage everyone to get out and do as much racing, bashing, drifting, crawling, or flying as you can.

Today is the inaugural for our Super-Cup Series! CMC Super Cup Series round #1 at Thompson R/C Raceway!

Gates open up at 9am
Practice is from 1:00pm-4:30pm
Drivers meeting is at 4:45pm
Racing will start at 5pm

King & Queen New Orleans Original Sneauxballs will be there from 1pm-4pm 🍧😋

Hi everyone! Just a reminder to get signed up at https://www.rcsignup.com/events/displayEvent.cfm?ID=12150 for the CMC Super Cup Series round #1 oval race at Thompson R/C Raceway on June 24th!

We are excited to say there will be a small food trailer on site! They are making bbq sandwiches, nachos with cheese or chili, hotdogs, chips and drinks. If you feel like going around the corner from the track there is also El Rincon Del Taco with very delicious food! AND we will be bringing out the famous King & Queen New Orleans Original Sneauxballs to the track to cool us all off! 😋

This is going to be such a good time, don’t miss out! Spots will fill fast.
