HUGE congratulations to the following GHS singers who were selected to perform in the MSVMA Region A Honors Choir:

- Elizabeth Belyou
- Alec Force
- Evan Guerreiro
- Julia Rasmussen
- Larissa Roy
- Emma Simpson

These singers recorded an audition and were selected as some of the best choir singers in the greater Grand Rapids area. They will perform with the rest of the Region A Honors Choir at Hope College in December. While there, they will audition to be considered for the STATE Honors Choir.

Congratulations, everyone! You have worked so hard and we are all so proud of you.

Today, some of our singers visited Grand Valley State University for Voice Day. Our students got a taste of life as a vocal music major complete with a vocal masterclass, performances by current GVSU music students, and a side-by-side rehearsal with one of the GVSU choirs!
Extra special was reuniting with some GHS Choirs alumni who are music students at GVSU!

Current GHS Choirs students! Do you want to walk in tomorrow’s Homecoming Parade? Check your school email for details! We hope you’ll join us.

Be sure to check out the GHS Homecoming Parade tomorrow (Friday, October 4) at 5:30pm along Hillcrest Street! The parade heads NORTH on Hillcrest Street from Yellow Jacket Drive to Blackburn Street. Show your JACKET PRIDE by lining up along Hillcrest Street to cheer on our parade participants!
STREET CLOSURES: Hillcrest & Blackburn Streets will be closed from approximately 5:15-6:00pm, and Yellow Jacket Drive will be closed from approximately 4:30-6:15pm. Be sure to come early (or late) to avoid the street closures. Go Jackets!
