EVENT WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Position Summary:
A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate counting, cleaning, and restocking of equipment and other items within the ABC facilities to ensure department inventory is restocked and prepared to be sent out for the next client orders.
Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager(s), the warehouse staff is responsible for stocking product to each location based off of predetermined needs list for and during events. Assist in setup and breakdown of tents, tables, chairs, inflatables, and mechanical rides.
Duties may include cleaning inventory, loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, setting up and tearing down events, warehouse upkeep, etc. You must be able to lift heavy objects as this job can be labor-intensive. You must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, punctual, dedicated, self-motivated, honest, detailed, and have good customer service skills as you will be representing our company on event sites. You must be drug-free as we are a drug-free company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Accurate and timely stocking of areas
-Inform supervisor of any damaged or missing products
-Follow policies and procedures set forth by ABC
-Report to work on all days scheduled at or before the clock-in time required
-Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
-Must be able to follow instructions and operational standards
-Maintain a moderate to high energy level while on the job
-Lots of enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment
-Keep work area clean, organized, and neat
-Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
-Must be able to work in a team environment
-Must be able to read, write and speak English
-Must have basic math and accurate counting skills
-Dress in an ABC shirt befitting the position
Physical Demands:
-Frequent pulling, pushing, bending, and lifting
-Must have full range of motion and dexterity, including but not limited to the ability to bend, squat and reach overhead
-Must be able to perform essential job duties in a non-climate controlled environment
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Must have adequate vision with or without corrective lenses
-Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing with or without reasonable accommodations

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time to Full-Time Customer Service Representative to join ABC Party Rentals! This position assists customers by phone and in the showroom with rental contracts for any type of event. Small and large. Private, scholastic and corporate. Including weddings, corporate events, birthday and anniversary parties, etc. Hours: M-F 9am - 5pm; Sat 9am - Noon; Sun Closed.
Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with rental orders via walk-in, phone and email with the following:
• Generate client quotes and contracts
• Process daily revenue, inventory and schedule reports
• Regular ongoing client communication/inquiries via phone and email
• Assist with marketing, website and social media postings
• Confirm all contract items are in stock; purchase or sub rental items needed to complete orders
• Drafts, reviews, and proofreads office documents.
• Confirm all delivery and pickups in advance - confirm dates, location, delivery times and items along with pick up dates and times
• Pull linens daily for contracts to ensure accuracy
• Count linens to ensure all rentals were returned
• Keep showroom in clean, presentable fashion
• Update table displays to coordinate with upcoming season and events
• Occasional errands as needed
• Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers, copiers, and fax. Replenish paper
• Attend wedding festival events and assist with set-up/tear down of display Requirements:
• 1+ year of recent administrative, customer service, marketing and/or sales support experience is a must
• Please be a customer-service minded and enjoy working with and engaging in assisting customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, phone etiquette required
• Strong computer/typing skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Comfortable learning new rental software
• Must be comfortable going upstairs for linens ordered and lift up to 20 pounds (not often)
• We require a high school diploma or GED; college degree a plus, but not required
