I was recently diagnosed with a rare blood condition called Polycythemia. This is the cause of my kidney stones, fatigue, and brain fog. I have good days and I have days that my joints hurt and I have zero energy. Thankfully this is reversible with life styles changes that will make me a better me and are definitely needed. If you have sleep apnea please use your CPAP it is truly a not so silent killer. I'm stepping away from BBQ to focus on getting 100% healthy and guarantee that I can continue to put out the best product possible.
I feel blessed as this diagnosis could have been Polycythemia Vera which is cancer but God so fit to give me a choice.. Change your ways or continue to struggle with health issues. I'm choosing positive change that will yield positive results. As always I'm resilient and I will bounce back stronger and better. Pray that God will increase my discipline that I can get back to normal sooner rather than later!!! Never take the statement Life Health and Strength for granted you never know when things will change.

We’re on the road this week and will be in Simpsonville at Bethel Elementary School for their Bethel Bash on Friday from 4-8 and Legacy Early College on Saturday from 11-1.
Sexton Smoke-N-Grill is traditional bbq smoked low and slow with a unique fruit infused twist. We offer handcrafted southern soul food sides that will take you back to Granny’s kitchen. Our sauces are our original secret recipe sauces that include our signature Peach Mango Nole Sauce and our Bowden Sauce which is our legendary traditional Bbq Sauce. We look forward to seeing you!!
