This month, the Peace Center launched a new Artist-in-Residence program that brings renowned guest artists to Greenville to teach various aspects of performing arts. The first resident artist Doug Oberhamer, an acclaimed Broadway Musical Director, Composer, Arranger, and vocal coach, conducted a variety of workshops focusing on different elements of the musical arts on the Peace Center’s campus and in Greenville County classrooms. Over the course of several weeks, Oberhamer worked with hundreds of students and educators in our community.

Programs like these are made possible through Peace Center donors. Learn how you can support arts education programs in the community by visiting www.peacecenter.org/giving-support.

This month, students in Greenville County have had the opportunity to learn from an award-winning Broadway professional.
