Catering in Greenville, SC.
1) Do you need cool whip but don’t have any on-hand?
2) Did you ever want to know how cool whip is made?
If you answered, “yes” to either we can help you.
To begin you will need the following:
Vanilla flavoring, extract or bean paste (whichever you prefer)
1-1/2 cup of sugar (the sweetness depends on your needs)
1-2 pints of Heavy Whipping Cream (It’s located near the milk on the dairy isle near the liquid creamers).
***For this recipe, we specifically used two pints of heavy whipping cream. ***
A Stand-mixer (The brand doesn’t matter. Yes, you may use a hand-mixer but it takes lots more work.)
To begin….
Combine all ingredients and use a stand-mixer to whip until medium peaks (white, firm, and glossy). This takes about 1-2 minutes. If you walk away or get distracted and over whip it simply add more cold cream and whip again.
Once complete, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer depending on the next use.

Did you know you can make your own version of the famous Kerry Gold’s garlic & herb butter at home? We made our own using fresh herbs like basil, garlic, rosemary and thyme. In addition, we incorporated some of our house seasoning whipping it until creamy. The longer this compound butter sits and marinates the better it is. We pre-made 5lbs of it yesterday and all of it will be used today to top off our dishes. Enjoy!

Tis the season for holiday parties. We kicked off this season earlier this week with @greatergoodgreenville . They held their annual Winter Solstice Celebration at @southernfirstbank.
Post-covid, holiday breakfast, brunch, and lunch celebrations have been a trend. Traditional company holiday parties are held in the evening, many times off-site at large venue, there is a food and beverage bill as well as decor. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch events save companies money because these events are held during business hours which increase engagement, and companies save money eliminating a plus one and purchasing alcohol which can be a liability.
We love this new trend because it provides more work-life-balance for employees as they are able to enjoy their personal commitments outside of the workplace.
