This is a special post to recognize THE GREAT BILLY TISCHLER 💥 In 1976, He was a participant in the first experimental ‘GATEWAY POWERBOAT REGATTA’ garage race in his 14' Donzi, along with Peter Aitkin in his 35' Cigarette, Bob Idoni in his 30' Scarab, Billy Healy in his 18' Sea Ray, Gus Bertolf in his 19' Chris Craft, Anthony Curcio in his 18' Sidewinder, Billy Frenz in his 20' Bertram and the race was won by Frank ‘DEE DEE’ Bellochio in his 17' Formula. The libations included 2 kegs of Schaefer Beer and 3-6’ wedges. We gave out 3-12” Tall Trophies. That was the START of something BIG!
