It is finally feeling like fall, and here at The Weedhopper we are getting in the fall mood! We will be hosting a fall class arranging flowers in a pumpkin. Help us welcome our new instructor Oliva Berner! Olivia is the owner of The Weedhopper Flower Farm in Greenwich, Ohio. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a dual major in Greenhouse Production and Floral Design. With over 15 years of experience, she enjoys using her talents as a floral designer and flower farmer for all occasions. Olvia will be teaching the 60+ Flower Arranging Workshop this semester!

Here are some bouquet examples from this week’s flower subscription! Can anyone find the puffy clouds of Bobo panicle hydrangea and the peeks of pink coral berry?! And of course, the sunflowers reign again!!

An example from this weeks flower bouquet subscription! A lighter colored sunflower hits the show with drops of purple and white gomphrena! Also, the zinnia has unique coloration of salmon and lime all in one bloom!

We will also be at the Ashland Farmers Market today from 9-11 with more bouquets and single stems of sunflowers and gladiolus!

Annaleigh has tried her hand at growing some plants from seed this year! She has some sweet basil, lemon basil, and thyme for sale if anyone is interested. She also has some cacti and succulents available all for $2 a piece.

Designer Olivia Berner, will take you through the flower field, where you will learn about how the flowers are grown and cared for. You can even pick some! Once gathered, you will be shown step by step on how to create your very own summer bouquet! Join us for an evening of fun and invite a friend!

Today was our first pickup for the Summer Flower Bouquet Subscription! A trio of pink from lovely zinnias, calla lillies, and gomphrena, dark burgundy leaves from hibiscus, and yellow rockets of snapdragons! What a beautiful example of what was blooming in the field today 🌸
