When one door Closes another door Opens.
Mid July The Open Space will close its doors for good.
I am starting a new independent record label called "Space 2 Groove Records". Closing the Open Space is not a bad thing, it's just time to move on into a better direction. Myself and Maria would like to thank the musicians who came out to play and the visual artist who showed in the gallery.
The goal of the Open Space was to support local artist and musicians. We had 25 different visual artist show their work in the gallery. The Open Space put on about 50 live jazz improvised performances supporting the music scene in the lower Hudson Valley...You can find most of the performance on my YouTube channel...

I had a blast recording 41 live records in the gallery since covid.(The most creative time in my life so far)
I called up all of my friends to record and improvise, plus made new friends along the way...I will be releasing another 9 albums in the next few months under the record label Space 2 Groove Records...
