The Lander University Equestrian Center is a 37 acre facility that houses the Bearcat Therapeutic Ri The center also houses a multi-purpose classroom.

The Equestrian Center features a 150' x 300' covered arena with lights, irrigation and fans. It has a 150' x 200' outdoor arena with lights and irrigation. Additionally, our horses benefit from use of a hot walker and round pen, 26 matted stalls and more than 20 acres of beautiful pasture.

ISO: Donation - endurance saddle.

The therapeutic program at Lander is in need of an endurance saddle. Must be an 18” seat but other than that, there are no requirements other than that it’s in safe usable condition.

**** We are hiring! ****

🔵 The Lander Equestrian Center is looking to add an assistant barn manager to our staff. Duties include (but are not limited to) stall cleaning, turning horses in/out, making feed, managing student worker schedule, ordering hay and feed, etc.

🔵 Prior horse experience IS required. We have around 30 horses or more on the property at one time and the next person in this position should be comfortable handling all types of horses, giving medications, wrapping legs, holding for vet and farrier, etc.

🔵 Part time hours, pay is just above minimum wage.

Come work with us! We are a small group of fun horse people and we would like to add another team member as soon as possible.

8 of our rider’s (all showcased here) qualified for this year’s Regionals!! We are so excited to watch these riders go in the ring once again with the help of the rest of our amazing team! GO LUET!!

Regional’s this year will be hosted at the Lander University Equestrian Center on March 2nd at 10am!
