Parker’s senior session at Holliday Park had the best mix of grit and style. The stone ruins and trails gave us strong, bold backdrops that really fit his personality.

Avery and Magwire’s Newfields engagement session was nothing short of dreamy. From the lush gardens to the romantic golden light, every moment felt timeless and full of love. What an unforgettable day celebrating Anastasiya and Alex at the beautiful Woodstock Country Club in Indianapolis! From the very first moment, the venue was overflowing with stunning florals, filling every corner with romance and creating the dreamiest backdrop for their love story.

Their wedding day felt like it belonged in a fairytale elegant, timeless, and filled with so much joy. And of course, we can’t forget their sweet pup Georgia, who stole the spotlight more than once with her adorable presence.

It was such an honor to capture the laughter, the tears, and all the magical in-between moments of their celebration. Truly a day we’ll never forget!

Sometimes Indiana weather has other plans our first evening together got completely rained out just as we finished their first location, however I’d say it worked out perfectly, because round two at the gorgeous Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis couldn’t have been more wonderful.

From start to finish, the evening was filled with laughter, giggles, and the kind of joy that makes photographing couples like Brooke & Ethan such a dream. Their love for each other shines through in every single moment and we are beyond excited to celebrate with them on their wedding day next summer!

Pink Palmetto Dreams 🌸🌴

Last month, Charleston gave us the dreamiest backdrop for the Pink Palmetto Dreams editorial shoot at The Waverly, the city’s newest wedding venue and it was everything I hoped it would be and more.

From the soft, romantic palette to the lush, editorial-inspired details, every corner of this shoot felt like a love letter to Charleston. But what truly made the day unforgettable was the incredible group of talented vendors who came together to bring this vision to life. There’s something so special about connecting with other creatives who share the same passion for making wedding magic happen.

Some wedding days just feel like they were meant to be and Cece and James’ celebration at Covenant Place in Marion, Indiana, was one of them. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how loved and cherished these two are. They are the kind of couple that radiates kindness, joy, and genuine connection, making everyone around them feel at ease.

We couldn’t have asked for more perfect summer weather warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and that golden evening light that makes everything feel extra magical. Every moment, from the sweet glances they shared during the ceremony to the laughter echoing across the dance floor, was a reflection of who they are: thoughtful, fun, and deeply in love.

Introducing our very first Cobblestone Christmas Minis happening right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis at the charming, historic Lockerbie Square! 🎄

This year, we thought we’d switch things up (by popular demand!) and step away from the tree farms for something a little more magical and timeless. Think cobblestone streets, vintage brick sidewalks, twinkly lights, and that classic city charm, perfect for cozy coats, holiday dresses, or just capturing the wonder of the season in a fresh new way.

When: Sunday November 9th, 2025
Where: Lockerbie Square in Indianapolis, Indiana
What it includes: 20 minute session with 10 digital images via digital gallery and additional images available to purchase.
Early Bird Pricing: $249 due in full at booking with a signed contract. Early bird pricing expires August 31st, 2025 at midnight!

Limited availability only 10 spots available! Please drop your email and the time you wish to book below in the comments.

Policies:

Studio Policies are as followed: Christmas Mini Sessions can not be applied to previous sessions. No cash or time value. Christmas Mini Sessions are non refundable and non transferable. Mini Sessions cover one house hold family per a time slot, more then one house hold family will require an additional time slot. No reschedules unless in the event of severe weather under Maria McKenzie Photography LLC’s jurisdiction. All other reschedules other then severe weather will lose their session fee. This is not valid for weddings or newborns. In the event of severe weather such as a weird snow storm the event will be rescheduled to another weekend date.

Due to the nature of this event I will need to fill these to at least 50% - 75% capacity! In the event I do not fill these to capacity Maria McKenzie Photography Llc reserves the right to cancel the mini sessions. In the event Maria McKenzie Photography LLC cancels Maria McKenzie Photography LLC will issue a refund to all participants who booked. Clients also acknowledge that photos will be on a 3-4 week turnaround time unless they pay an additional $99 fee for a rush order.

They are back! The Studio Christmas Minis are always such a hit!! Come in your Christmas Pjs or in your Christmas Best! These Christmas Mini Sessions are fun, adorable, and perfect for all members of the family. These adorable family and kid friendly mini sessions will be held in my studio in Downtown Greenwood! Everyone always loves these sessions and I am so excited to bring them back again this year with a new twist and super cute and fun festive backdrop.

Amy & Miguel’s ultimate Charleston engagement session was absolutely magical in every way! From the stillness of sunrise to the glow of golden hour and the crashing of waves Amy and Miguel’s Charleston engagement session was simply amazing!

We began the day surrounded by Spanish moss and the mirror-like waters of Cypress Gardens at shortly after sunrise. The quiet beauty of the cypress trees and their reflections created the most romantic and cinematic backdrop, setting the tone for a day full of intention, connection, joy, and beautiful moments.

Later that afternoon, we wandered through the cobblestone streets of historic downtown Charleston a place where charm lives in every pastel facade, hidden alley, and sun-drenched windows with fresh florals. With every step, Amy and Miguel’s laughter echoed through the city, their joy absolutely contagious.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended the evening barefoot in the surf at Folly Beach the sky painted in soft cotton candy hues as the sun dipped low. From playful splashes to quiet moments wrapped in one another’s arms, the beach gave us the perfect close to this unforgettable day.

Charleston never fails to show off and neither do these two. This entire session was the perfect blend of romance, fun, and a little bit of magic. We’re already counting down the days until their Island House wedding next spring on St. John’s Island it’s going to be an absolute dream.

Thank you to you both so much for giving us a reason to come back to our favorite place where we are quickly planting roots!

Mr. Pawsonality himself Leonard 🐾

From those melt-your-heart puppy dog eyes to the signature basset howls echoing through the studio, this little guy brought all the charm (and a little bit of sass) to his puppy session!

Leonard may still be small, but his bassetiude is larger than life. He made it very clear that this floofin’ camera better catch his best angles only preferably after a treat or two. 😆

Every head tilt, every dramatic sigh, and every stubborn “I’m done” flop was pure gold. And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Leonard, you’re a star already and we’re obsessed. And your giving me more puppy fever if that is even possible when having 8 dogs already 🤣🙈
