There's something truly magical about celebrating love in the City of Lights. Last summer we had the incredible opportunity to capture a stunning anniversary session for Kim and Mark in Paris, and it was nothing short of enchanting. Yes I am way way overdue sharing these but better late than never!

Kim and Mark's love story brought them to the heart of Paris for their anniversary, and they couldn't have chosen more iconic locations for their photo session. We started the day at the Trocadéro, with its breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. The early morning light bathed the city in a golden glow, creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere.

Kim looked radiant in a stunning long black elegant dress, while Mark complemented her perfectly in slacks and a white button down shirt. As they strolled hand in hand along the Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower stood majestically in the background, providing a timeless and iconic Parisian backdrop. The joy and love between them were palpable, making every shot a genuine reflection of the love these two share!

Next, we made our way to the Louvre, where the historic architecture and art created an atmosphere of timeless beauty. Kim and Mark wandered through the grand courtyards and posed by the glass pyramid, their laughter and affection echoing through the corridors.

We are honored to have been a part of this special day and to have captured these beautiful memories for Kim and Mark. Along with our time in Paris with them! Here's to many more years of love, laughter, and adventures together!

Out Of Office Vacation Mode Starts Now! ✈️🌴☀️🐬

It has been nearly 10 years since we have been on our last cruise which feels like a lifetime ago, but we are so excited to take this family time together enjoying new adventures and experiencing it as a family before the summer kicks off and before wedding season ramps up.

12 years later and we are taking the kids on the very first trip Matthew and I ever took as a couple! A Cruise! 😍 The trip that started all our traveling and never stopped!

Can’t wait to spend the next 10 days Sailing in the Southern Caribbean to Aruba, Curaçao, and the Dominican Republic for our family vacation for 2024! We are going to make so many new memories and have some amazing adventures!

While I hope to be active on socials all inquiries and business questions will be answered upon our return on Monday May 13th! We can’t wait to share our travels, tips, and adventures with all of you!

Additionally, a special thank you goes out to our doggie sitter and my brother in law for taking care of our doggies and house while we are gone! We appreciate you guys so much for taking care of all our fur babies!

Last week I had the incredible honor of traveling all the way to Mexico to photograph my first ever international wedding! Photographing Cassie and Dave's magical wedding day at the stunning Majestic Elegance Resort in Cancun was a dream come true! Every moment of their wedding day and our time spent with them and all their friends in Cancun was perfect beyond belief!

From the moment they exchanged vows against the backdrop of swaying palm trees and turquoise waters, it was clear that their love was as beautiful as the scenery surrounding us. Every detail, from the delicate flowers to the heartfelt speeches, radiated joy and love. As the sun dipped below the horizon, and the stars came out as they danced and partied on the terrace overlooking the ocean and palm trees I couldn't help but feel grateful to be a part of such a special day along with so many other special moments throughout their journey!

Cassie and Dave, may your love continue to shine as brightly as it did on that April 10th day! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness together and congratulations again! 🎉

It’s officially wedding month! 🎉💍😍

Next week we will officially kick off our 2024 wedding season but not just any wedding! Our very first International Wedding! 😍🎉 We are so incredibly excited to celebrate with our sweet couple and can’t wait to document their love story and share all of their beautiful photos with you!

April is a special month for MMP for many reasons because it was the month I photographed my very first wedding, the month I officially went full time and also the same month I booked my first International Wedding and now here we are nearly 8 years later and just a little over a week away when I will photograph that international wedding! 🎉 God really does have a way with timing and his plans for you!

This journey hasn’t always been easy and isn’t always easy even to this day but it is one that is worth while and one I feel extremely privileged to do! So I’m here to tell you if you have a dream keep on pushing forward and don’t ever look back! You got this!

So with that being said let’s take some guesses where do you think I am off to next week for our very first international wedding?

Rainy wedding days no problem! We have you covered! Actually quite literally! ☔️

I promise we can still get beautiful portraits in the rain! Overcast skies are actually some of my favorite days to shoot with the gorgeous soft even light and vibrant colors!

Continue reading below to find out what we do on rainy wedding days!

1. I bring a ton of clear cute bubble umbrellas even enough for your entire bridal party! So you can still have gorgeous portraits outside all while still being covered! We’re just going to embrace the rain!

2. Porches! If there is a large under cover porch or area at your venue we will also use that to our advantage as well to keep you covered during portrait time!

3. Trust me! I promise your photos will still turn out beautiful! Take it one step at a time and don’t stress yourself at the over and the weather forecast! After all rain on your wedding day is good luck! 😉

Trust me and let me worry about the forecast! I have even been known to switch around certain areas of portraits to try and get you out when it’s not raining! I got you! 💙
