GIVEAWAY …. The shop is closing at 2 pm today (Friday 1.17.25). Why?? I (Anna) am headed to market this morning to buy beautiful gifts + decor for you.

BUT before I go, I really want to know what YOU want to see at . Your feedback is important to me and helps me curate what we carry throughout the year and at the Holidays. Can you take a second & let me know what you want to purchase more of throughout the year!! Something you want more of, a brand you love, a color palette or style…I read every comment and take them into consideration.

Update 10/31
Work Crew Needed for this Sunday in Banner Elk to fix up a home flooded by the hurricane. All skill levels needed needed. Please text me at (864) 569-6112 if you can go or help with supies.

Repairs Needed
1) Light carpentry to repair door ripped off frame.
2) Road repaired (backhoe & 1 load of crusher / crush & run gravel needed)
3) Moisture guage test to check for damage in walls
4) Scrubbing & cleaning & organizing (expect mold/mildew/mud)
5) yard work (leaves scraped off, storm cleanup, chainsaw work, beds rebuilt and flower beds replanted)

Supplies Needed
1) Need a load of crusher gravel from Greenville taken to Banner Elk/Foscoe. (There is no gravel available up there right now. The NCDOT claimed the gravel mine up there for repair work so very hard to find & get transported)
2) mold & flood water cleaning supplies
3) screen door & frame repair supplies
4) yard tools: blower, rakes, shovels, etc
5) top soil, mulch, fall/winter flowers/shrubs

HURRICANE HELENE RECOVERY
If you don’t know what is happening in since Hurricane Helene hit the mountains 5 weeks ago or why things haven’t gone back “to normal” yet, PLEASE watch my short interview with Sherrye Trice. She is serving her community at the Foscoe Grandfather Community Center (Foscoe, NC) - in ways that are SAVING and SUSTAINING LIVES. Please, please listen and share this with everyone you know. It’s sobering & beyond comprehension.

Yes, I am still accepting donations for WNC.
Yes, the people in WNC still need our help.
No, life is not back to normal nor will it be for many for a very long time.
Yes, the supplies are actually being distributed to people. Very much so. I did it myself.💔

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Sunday, 10/27 - We are loading up the truck at 5 pm at Urban Petals. If you can spare 1 hour to help us, I would really appreciate it! Text me if you want to help or comment below if you don’t have my #.

Monday, 10/28 - If you have Monday off and want to volunteer, we are going to Banner Elk to unload the truck and help in any other ways at Foscoe Grandfather Community Center. Pack a lunch and meet at Urban Petals. Leaving between 8-8:30 am.

1) ISO of a Keurig Coffee Machine & K-cups for the volunteer kitchen at Foscoe Grandfather Community Center with Sherrye Trice! Can be dropped off at Urban Petals or shipped directly to her donation center. Venmo me at -Stouffer and I’ll go buy it & take it up.
2) Looking for someone with an enclosed trailer+truck OR box truck to help take a load of supplies to Banner Elk. As soon as possible would be great.
