We will be offering SPIN ART TOMORROW at The Grimes Farmers Market Our manual spin art machine (and Artist), are available for POP-UPS at schools, churches, tailgates, block parties, business events, and more! We can also host private or public events at THE BRICK ROOM. We have 2 manual units that allow guests to do spin art on 10" paper circles, Vinyl Records or 8"x10" canvases. It's very FUN and takes under 5 minutes to create an amazing keepsake piece of art! Add glitter for added pizazz!

We also have 3 electric units and will be offering upcoming events at THE BRICK ROOM for GIANT SPIN ART on canvases up to 24"!

We make fun fans, hair clips, rings, pins, and earrings for Mrs Roper Romps! Message us if you'd like to order some for the upcoming event this Sunday, noon-10 PM, at the Regal Beagle in West Des Moines! Order by Saturday and we will have the items ready at The Regal Beagle for you to pick up and enjoy wearing this Sunday!

Earrings - $13-$15 Rings $3, Flower Hair Clips $6, Hand-Held Fans (misc styles) $6, We can make most of the the earrings in different colors- just ask! We will have some on hand at the event, too! We also will have some eye glasses and sunglasse on hand. Colors will vary for those.

What a fun night at our Mrs Roper Crafts in Caftans night! We made spin art on vinyl records and fans. We laughed, socialized, did trivia and made appearances at nearby bars. We even had a Stanley join us! ‘Such fun!! Thanks to all who participated!

We plan to have some cool open houses, shopping, painting & live music events some Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, coming up in Nov/Dec. If you have a group of friends or staff that might want to have a gift exchange, cookie exchange, white elephant exchange in a portion of our room during one of our events, let us know! For a small fee per person you could BYOBeer/Wine/Champagne/Snacks and come enjoy our cool, cozy space by candlelight!! Groups can book the whole room, half, or a space for at least 8 people. If you want to host your private event instead of piggybacking on one of our scheduled events, that'd be great, too! We'd love to have you! (Groups of 21+ are the best fit or teen groups with chaperones)

Our House Band is BACK for ONE NIGHT ONLY IN MARCH!! Come out for some 80s/90s pop, rock, a bit of country, soul, reggae...something for everyone! Tips are greatly appreciated and are how we pay the band. Ages 21+, BYOB and snacks or get food from a nearby restaurant! (We allow wine, beer, soda, water - no liquor). You can reserve a table for 1-4 or gosh... half of the room if you have a big enough staff or group! Doors will open at 7 PM. Limited seating. Chunky Blanket Workshop w/Anita
Friday, Feb. 17, 6-9 PM
Cost $85 (includes sales tax)

Learn how to make and take home your own hand knitted chunky blanket! No prior knitting experience needed! Payment is required at registration and is due by Feb 10. https://thebrickroomgrimes.com/tickets

Come join us at The Brick Room for a Chunky Blanket Making class! Instructor Anita Furnald will be teaching you step by step how to make a lap blanket (approx. 30in X 50in) to take home and snuggle with! Ticket costs would include the yarn for the blanket.

Color choices may change, due to yarn availability. Color options will be neutral, such as gray, ivory, taupe and will be available on a first--come-first-served basis on the night of the event.
This class will take place on February 17, 2023, from 6PM-9PM. Bring your own soda/beer/wine/snacks (just no liquor). Learn a new skill and meet new people while having FUN!
