Good morning everyone,
We hope that everyone is enjoying their holiday week. I’m sure many of you took advantage of this “short” week and scheduled your vacation. Believe me I would have done the same.
Very quickly, I want to let you know that Lylas will be closed July 4th through July 8th and we will return at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9th. I’m looking forward to grilling up some burgers and hot dogs at the park, and hopefully get in a little swimming.
Have a great holiday everyone. I know I haven’t been around much lately, and seriously I miss catching up with you. See you soon.

Good afternoon everyone,
It's been a bit since I've written a post. I certainly hope that I did not forget how. Anyways, I've been spending time away from the day to day routine at Lylas, but that doesn't mean that the lady who's name graces our building doesn't put me to work.
Yesterday, it was brought to my attention that our website had been out of service. After contacting the fine gentlemen in charge of said site; aka Terry and Brian, we were up and running in no time, so to put it short, you can now order online again.
Lyla also said to tell you that if you don't want to cook in this heat; who does? give her a call or stop by and take a look at everything that's available. She told me the list was way too long.
Have a great day and hopefully I'll catch up with everyone soon.

Good Tuesday morning everyone,
Hopefully everyone enjoyed their 1st weekend of June. We managed to get quite a bit accomplished the past couple of days. We had a couple of “pesky” little plumbing problems at the house that we finally had taken care of. The best part, I didn’t fall over when I was handed the bill!! Another thing that we had done was getting our air ducts at the house cleaned. With some great recommendations we chose Zeppelin Cleaning Services to take care of this. I’ll be honest; I always thought that this service was somewhat “overhyped” if you will. Boy, was I wrong. I was amazed how much debris was removed. I guess that after 20 years of having cats, this is what happens.
Anyways, today Lyla and her fine staff are busy preparing a few ready to go meals. First, we have Rosemary Lemon Chicken (gluten free) served with roasted root vegetables. Right behind how about Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. As always a fresh round of chicken salad rounds it out. Before I forget as a side take home some artichoke, olive and feta salad. To satisfy your sugar crave we have rice pudding, cookies and muffins. Today’s soups are chicken noodle and crushed red lentil. On Wednesday look for another fresh baked batch of meat and spinach pies and some homemade Lasagna with meat sauce.
Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you soon.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. THIS WEEKS DINNER IS SOLD OUT. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND LETS SAY A PRAYER THAT THE RAIN STAYS AWAY!!!
I’m absolutely positive that each and every one of you is enjoying this wonderful holiday weekend as much as we are. I’m feeling a little guilty though to be honest. While Mark and yours truly enjoyed a great guys day out yesterday, Lyla was busy doing things around our house. That girl does not know how to rest!! In fact this morning she’s still at it!!
Before the rain falls upon us this afternoon, I’m going to put on my work clothes and get some outside work done. Top of my list is getting our sprinkler system up and running. I usually trust the professionals to this one, but with the help of my son William and my neighbor Brian, we have been able to get this task taken care of. If I’m soaking wet by the time the project is done you know it was a success.
Tomorrow, we will be having the family over for a holiday BBQ. She picked out a pretty good menu too. I asked her to include the classic hot dog on the menu. It made the list and I’m happy.
As I mentioned last week, this Wednesday, May 29th the Wednesday night dinners wrap up until the week after Labor Day. This week we will be featuring a delicious Baby Back barbecued rib dinner. Along with a generous 1/2 slab of ribs how about some corn on the cob, coleslaw, bread and a slice of peach pie for only $15.99. If this meal doesn’t say summer, I don’t know what does!!
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy your Holiday weekend and make sure not to forget the mustard and ketchup for your hot dogs like I did. I guess I have to head over to Krogers!!
SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT.

05/19/2024

THANKS EVERYONE BUT THIS WEEKS DINNER IS SOLD OUT. HAVE A GREAT DAY AND WE WILL SEE YOU WEDNESDAY.
I trust that everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. The month of May is moving right along, and lo and behold next weekend Memorial Day is upon us. Now we move into the real official start of summer. Next weekend there will be plenty of more boats in lake St. Claire and all of our camper owners; which needless to say I’m very jealous of, will be hooking them up, and heading to one of our beautiful Michigan campgrounds. You just got to love that.
Yesterday, I managed to get quite of bit of things ready for the week. While Lyla and our niece Anne handled the day at Lylas, I took advantage of shopping. It’s always nice to get that out of the way early so we can enjoy our Sunday together. I even managed to get over to Lowe’s and load up on some backyard necessities for the house. As we speak, Lyla is busy loading up her planter box and pots with soil. Now, Lyla is really good and getting this task done, quite honestly better than I ever was. She always tell me that, it’s still to early to plant, but give it a couple of weeks, and that part will be completed as well.
A little bit later today, we are going to head over to my cousin John’s house for a little family get together. John’s kids collectively have not been home all together for about 5 years. One of his sons just graduated from Michigan State, and he has one daughter living out west and one who has been in Europe for quite awhile. I’m looking forward to catching up with them.
I wanted to let you know that the Wednesday night dinners will be wrapping up until Labor Day on May 29th. At this time Lyla says she wants to focus on more of the ready to go meals throughout the summer. She has plenty of good things in-store at this time to keep you well fed. We certainly know you are going to like what she has planned.
This Wednesday how about joining us for Chicken Parmesan. Served with a generous portion of spaghetti, a salad with Italian dressing, bread and a Cannoli for dessert for only $15.99 you can’t go wrong.
Just a heads up we will be closed Saturday, May 25th through Monday, May 27th so we can spend a little time enjoying the holiday weekend. Don’t be alarmed if I stow away on somebody’s camper or boat!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT.

05/12/2024

Good morning everyone and Happy Mothers Day to all our wonderful Moms and soon to be Moms. I know that I’m guilty of repeating myself, but to this day I still miss my mom.
In honor of this special day, our family will be joining my brothers and their families for brunch. For several years, my brother George has done a great job planning something special on this day. He sure makes my work a whole lot easier!!
After we get home this afternoon, Lyla and yours truly need to get out and pick up a few things not only for Lylas, but our house as well. When I say our cupboards and refrigerator are bare I’m not kidding. I think the best fed person in this house is Gabby the cat!! At least when we shop, our stomachs will be full so we won’t load the shopping cart with all the stuff that Costco is giving away free samples of.
Before we hop in the car and get in line at the Omelette station, I want to tell you about what Lyla has cooking Wednesday night. How does roasted pork tenderloin sound? Do I have your attention? Ok, then let’s pair it with scalloped potatoes, fresh green beans and salad and dessert for only $15.99. As always I hope you can join us.
Hey everyone, today’s going to be one of those days that more than likely I won’t be able to reply to you until much later in the day. Don’t worry though I will get back with you.
Have a great Mother’s Day everyone. Kids and Dads make sure to treat your Mom and Spouse extra special today. She deserves it. See you soon.

05/07/2024

Good Tuesday morning everyone,
We are already two days into the work week and all is well. Yesterday on our off day, Lyla was busy preparing several ready to go items, while I was out shopping getting everything else we need for the week. I always tell Lyla that I have the easy part, which she strongly disagrees. She will tell me that she is very content doing the cooking, while I do my tasks. In other words, no one will eat my cooking!!
Anyways, let’s talk about those items available today that I had nothing to do with making. Let’s start off with some delicious Lamb Shanks, then we have Rosemary Lemon Chicken, next week have several pulled pork meals, and to round it off, homemade chicken salad. The soups today are crushed red lentil and chicken noodle. And of course for your sweet “teeth”, rice pudding and chocolate chip cookies.
Have a great day.

05/05/2024

THANKS EVERYONE. THIS WEEKS DINNER IS SOLD OUT. ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY
Happy Cinco de Maya. I say this every year, but boy oh boy this year is just flying by. I look at it as another year closer to Medicare.
Last night our son Mark attended his final prom. What a fast 4 years!! His last day and graduation are just around the corner.
Since it was just us last night we decided to do something a little different. We took a short trip down to Dearborn, and had dinner at a restaurant called Cedar land. It was very good. Lyla said it’s always good to get a taste of the different flavors of other places. With the amount of food I ate, I certainly completed that task. Heck, I’m still full.
We don’t have too much planned for today. Lyla is going to put me to work helping her organize around the house, and we need to do a little bit of work at Lylas as well. We both thought it was going to be a rainy day, but so far it doesn’t look too bad. For dinner this evening, one of our long time customers Lloyd brought us some freshly caught Walleye. Thanks Lloyd, I hope you removed all the worms!! Oh, just a little fishing humor. I believe a nice cold beer would pair well with this one.
Ok, let’s move on to the dinner for this Wednesday, May 8th. Since this one is a favorite among many, we like to keep it in the rotation every couple of months or so. How about joining us for meatloaf this week? Sounds pretty good right? Along with your meatloaf; you’re going to like this… Lylas carrot soufflé. If that not enough, Lylas going to make homemade German potato salad. To top it all off, even if you don’t have room in your stomach, a piece of Mississippi Mud Cake. Lots of grub for $15.99.
Well that’s all for today. Have a great day and we will see you soon.
SOLD OUT SOLD OUT

04/28/2024

Good morning everyone,
We hope that everyone is having a great weekend. Anytime we can sprinkle in a couple of warm, summer like spring days in April no one, except the polar bears at the Detroit Zoo is going to complain.
Lyla left early this morning to go and visit her aunt at her place near Lansing, so I have been given the task of getting Lylas restocked for the week. The boss left me a big list of everything she needs, and if I don’t take care of it, I’ll be sleeping outside. That may not be too bad, since it’s nice and warm out. I told her I’ll do my share, since lately I have been enjoying a couple of extra days off these past few weeks. I guess, I’m trying to simulate what retirement is going to be like.
Aside from getting these aforementioned things done, my son William has offered to help me set up our new patio umbrella this afternoon. It looks like the setup will be fairly easy, but I’m not going get ahead of myself to soon. Lately, it seems like all these so called “easy” projects take longer than planned. Last summer I witnessed our neighbor assembling a play scape for his daughter, and I thought to myself that those words on the carton that say easy set up only apply to the person that has probably assembled several hundred of them before.
Anyways, I’m tired of talking about all this work, so before I get going let me tell you about the dinner for this Wednesday night. It’s hard to believe that May “fools” is already here; so let’s start off the month with a roasted chicken dinner. Now, Lylas roasted chicken is certainly hard to pass up and when she also throws in sides of rice with lamb and pine nuts, a cannellini bean salad, a slice of bread and dessert for only $15.99, no one will want to miss out. Our oven is only so big, so it’s hard to make too many of these, so get your order placed as soon as you can.
I may not respond to everyone right away, but I promise that I will get back with you. Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you.

04/23/2024

Good Tuesday morning everyone,
We hope that everyone’s week is off to a good start. Everyone here is ready to get going and start the week. We have been busy preparing quite a few ready to go items that are ready for you to pick up. Remember, the supplies are limited so get them while they last. Remember you can always call us and have us put aside these items for you. All I ask is that you please do not respond through Facebook. I’m not always checking my page, and I certainly don’t want to miss anything. Ok with that being said we have; Chicken Piccata with steamed carrots, Coq Au Vin with mashed sweet potatoes, Lamb Shanks with steamed carrots and mashed sweet potatoes, chicken salad with dried cranberries, Lebanese Potato Salad and Eggplant Lamb boats. Today’s soups are Crushed Red Lentil and Chicken Noodle. And I can’t forget the rice pudding.
Have a great Tuesday and we hope to see you soon.

04/21/2024

SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Before I begin this morning I would like to send a very sincere thank you for all of the condolences sent for our dear Aunt Isabel. Our family really appreciates them. She was laid to rest on Friday. What started out as a little bit of a cloudy and rainy day, quickly turned into a beautiful sunshine filled afternoon. We will continue to carry on the memories for many years to come.
I’m hoping that spring is going to be making an appearance here soon. We can’t make up our minds whether to open the windows and turn off the heat or close them, turn on the heat and pull out the winter blankets. Last night Lyla and I went out to run a few errands and geez, I had to wear my heavy jacket. Maybe I’m getting “soft” in my old age.
Lyla said that she wants to go to church this morning. I said that would be nice. Going to church on a regular basis is something that we certainly need to do a better at. I know that sometimes we let other things take over our day, and that’s ok, but those things are always going to be there. I think Aunt Isabel is sending us a message from high above.
I was taking a peek around the house the other day and since we had such a mild winter, everything looks in pretty good order. Our patio furniture and BBQ covers are showing their age, so I’ll get some new ones in the fall. Last weekend, we purchased this big patio umbrella from where else, Costco. It should do a nice job in keeping us nice and cool as we enjoy time outside. Now we just have to set it up.
We were very pro-active in planning for the Wednesday night dinner this week. That rarely happens. Usually we sit around Saturday night scrambling to see what we are going to do. How about joining us for a big serving of Penne Pasta with meat sauce and Italian Sausage. Always a good one. Everyone knows that you’ll be full on the main dish by itself, but we won’t stop there. You will also receive a salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, a big piece of garlic bread 🥖 (I like these emojis), and the best part a slice of Tiramisu for dessert. See I told you we had it all planned out. Oh and you know it’s only $15.99.
Have a great day everyone. It may take a bit before I respond to you, but please bear with me, our Priest may be keeping me in the confessional booth a lot longer!!
SOLD OUT. THANKS

04/17/2024

Good morning everyone,
Unfortunately this morning I have some very sad news to pass along. Yesterday morning our dear Aunt Isabel passed away. She has been battling some health issues for the last several months. Aunt Isabel is my cousin Lisa’s mom. Lisa as many of you know has been part of the Lylas family for about 10 years. Aunt Isabel was also the spouse of my Uncle Paul, who passed away early last year. They enjoyed over 60 years of marriage, and I know deep down that she missed him everyday that he has been gone. I know that she has now found peace knowing she is back together with him.
In order to bid our farewell to her from her time on earth, Lylas will be closing at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th, and we will be closed on Friday, April 19th. We will return at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20th.
Rest in peace Aunt Isabel. Rest assured that you left your time on earth loved by so many people and by everyone that you loved just as much.

04/16/2024

Good Tuesday morning,
After enjoying a really nice couple of days off, we are ready to get back at it this fine Tuesday morning. If all goes well, I plan on putting in a full week. Last week I was really lazy, and my paycheck is going to be light. Anyways, some of the items that you will find in our reach in cooler are; Salisbury Steak with fresh green beans, Lylas homemade meat Lasagna, Chicken Piccata and Greek Pasta Salad. To satisfy your sweet tooth, how about the ever popular rice pudding, double chocolate chunk cookies and cinnamon rolls. Oh, and the soups today; crushed red lentil and chicken noodle.
Have a great day everyone. See you soon.

04/14/2024

Good morning everyone,
To be honest with you I am going to be happy to put this past week behind me. It was one of those weeks that we all have experienced, one bad thing after another, but I made it through it, with of course Lylas insistence that I take a few days off to rest. She’s always looking out for yours truly. That’s one of the million and a half things that I love about her.
Anyways, now that I’m pretty well healed up and ready to get back to work, I’ll plan on getting out today and begin the task of restocking Lylas with everything that I failed to get last week. It’s amazing how one week puts you so far behind.
Now that it’s getting a little nicer out, it’s time to get the outside of the house ready for summer. It’s always the usual stuff, uncover the patio furniture, the grill etc… I burned through (no pun intended) all of our firewood last year, so I have to restock that, so if anyone finds a couple of their trees missing, you may have figured out what happened.
Ok, on to the dinner for Wednesday night. We haven’t done this one in a bit, but I think you’ll like it. Coq Au Vin, or in layman’s terms chicken in wine sauce. This meal brings back memories for me. This was the first shall I say “fancy” dinner that Lyla cooked after we got married. She thought I didn’t know what it was, but I fooled her. See, two years of French at Bishop Gallagher did me well. Anyways, along with your fancy chicken you will receive sides of mashed sweet potatoes, bread, salad and dessert for only $15.99. Oh as an added bonus, this meal will be gluten free, except for the bread and dessert.
Have a great day. And as the French say, I have no idea what they say. See you soon.

04/07/2024

SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
Hopefully everyone had a good week. For the week after Easter, ours turned out to be pretty busy. I’m pretty sure all the Spring breaks have pretty much come to an end, and now we have a fairly long stretch until we hit Memorial Day. I call it a long stretch, but as I get older the long stretches become shorter.
Last night, Lyla, our son Mark and yours truly enjoyed an evening out dining on Sushi. We discovered this restaurant out in Clinton Township called Asahi. They do a really great job. We’ve been there a number of times and never walk away hungry. If you were to me ask to go out for Sushi 20 or 30 years ago I probably would have passed or maybe I wouldn’t have a clue what it was, but it certainly has become something that I now enjoy.
We don’t really have to much planned for today. Later this evening, we owe Mark his birthday dinner, so we gave him his choice on where he wanted to go, and he chose the Cheesecake Factory in Novi. It’s funny, I have never been to this particular location, but I have been to the one in Las Vegas, Chicago and Philadelphia, oh and West Palm Beach, Florida.Hey, why not travel hundreds of miles instead of just a few.
My brother Joe took me to the one in Las Vegas years ago for what else; a slice of cheesecake. To this day, it was probably the best I ever had.
The Tigers are off to a great start. 6-2 to start the season, I’ll take it. The past few years, April has not been a good month for them, but it’s looking better thus far. Now, we need to push for the Red Wings to get in the playoffs and the Pistons..well I don’t know what to do about that team.
I may still be full from all of this weekends eating, but hopefully all of you will join us on Wednesday for a boneless, mozzarella and pesto stuffed breaded pork chop dinner. Along with the chop, you will receive a generous portion of Cous- Cous with sautéed mushrooms and onions, a fresh spinach salad, bread and dessert for only $15.99. Not to brag, but Lyla makes one heck of a pork chop.
Have a great Sunday. Warmer weather in on the horizon and be careful when you’re looking at the total eclipse. As the ZZ Top song says, “You better get yourself some cheap sunglasses 🕶️ “!! See you soon.
SOLD OUT SOLD OUT. THANK YOU EVERYONE

04/02/2024

Good Tuesday morning,
We hope that everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend. I believe the majority of our students will be returning to their respective schools today. I attended Catholic school back in my day and Spring Break was always the week after Easter. If I’m not mistaken, most of the public schools had the same break. I’m sure they broke up the weeks to allow more people to travel. When I was in school, we didn’t go anywhere like Florida, we went to the old Woods Theatre on Mack to catch a movie!! Oh, and maybe we “hung out” at Eastland Mall if our Moms would let us.
I know that many of you will be seeing us on Wednesday which we always look forward to, but in case you’re not able to make it Lyla has prepared some ready to go meals for you. Making a comeback from a short hiatus, we have BBQ Baby Back Ribs. We also have our “Lebanese” Swedish Meatballs with egg noodles. How about Italian Sausage with Peppers, and to close it out Chicken Piccata.
Today’s soups will be Crushed Red Lentil and Chicken Noodle. Homemade of course. And don’t miss out on the rice pudding to.
Have a great day everyone. We look forward to seeing you.

03/31/2024

Good morning everyone and Happy Easter. Easter for me always brings back some good memories. I remember on the Saturday before my Dad would be busy coloring eggs, while my Mom would be getting set up to prepare a feast for Easter Sunday. I don’t know how she did it, but she just did. In the end nobody walked away hungry.
I’m happy that today will be just an enjoyable day off for us. There will be no shopping for us today, since everyone is closed, just the way it should be. I have to admit that to this day it’s still one of my pet peeves that some stores are open on the major holidays. Granted, I understand that not everyone celebrates certain holidays, and of course not everyone has the ability to have holidays off, but even so a nice day to unwind wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Somewhat quietly the baseball season is underway. I haven’t watched any of the Tigers first two games, but hey they’re undefeated!! I’ll take it. I know it’s a long season, some like myself would argue way too long, but thats the way it is. I’ll wait until it warms up before we plan on going to any games. June sounds good.
Let’s start off the Wednesday night dinners in April with something new. I’m sure everyone is going to have their fill of Ham, so how about joining us for Salisbury Steak with mushroom gravy. Served with a generous side of mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, salad, bread and dessert for only $15.99. Oh, as an added bonus the Salisbury Steak will be prepared Gluten Free.
Have a great Easter Sunday everyone. Hope you find all the Easter eggs. See you soon.
SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

03/26/2024

Good Tuesday morning everyone,
We are back to work and looking forward to seeing you. Boy, it takes alot to get this place ready, but thankfully we have a great support staff here to get it done. I wanted to let you know that in addition to our regular menu items you'll find Lylas homemade chicken salad and Swedish Meatballs available in our reach in cooler. As the week progresses we will do our best to add in more items. Have a great day.

03/24/2024

SORRY FOLKS BUT WE ARE SOLD OUT. I AM SORRY THAT I COULD NOT GET EVERYONE ON THE LIST. ENJOY YOUR EVENING.If you’re not a fan of hot weather, sunshine, the bluest of blue ocean water, or the whitest beach sand, Cancún, Mexico is not the place for you; but, if you’re one of the 99.99999% of the rest of the people out there who are fans, I highly recommend a visit. Personally this had to be one of our best family vacations. Everyone enjoyed plenty of time on the beach, plenty of time in the pool, and certainly I got plenty of rest. I can’t recall the last time I slept so well on a hotel bed.
Aside from our time at the resort we stayed at, we took a day trip to Isla Mujeres which was a short boat ride across from Cancun. It was very busy, but a good busy. Theirs plenty of shops along the Main Street, and a really nice beach as well. Easy to guess where we went.
Originally, we were going to be arriving home very early Saturday morning, but after several delays at the airport, and one cancelled flight , we were rerouted through Philadelphia where we stayed the night and flew home early Saturday afternoon. All in all it worked out fine.
Now that we are home, we have plenty of things to do to get ready for the week ahead. Lyla and yours truly will be heading out to do a ton of shopping. Essentially, we are out of most everything. That’s ok, we knew this would be the case. So after spending the majority of today restocking, we will spend tomorrow prepping for the week ahead.
I can’t believe that today is Palm Sunday, and Easter is next week. Maybe all of that Sun scorched my brain. I’m not used to Easter being this early. Tradition has it that we spend Easter at Lylas cousin Sharon’s house, and I believe this is the case this year as well. Lyla mentioned to me that there was a text sent out, which I said I did not receive, so maybe I’m not on the guest list. Anyways, Sharon save a few pieces of ham for me please.
The Wednesday night dinner returns this week, so how about a delicious Chicken Pot Pie? We haven’t had this in the rotation in a long time. Along with the CPP (chicken pot pie) you’ll receive a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, and dessert for only $15.99. This is one of those meals with everything rolled into one dish.
Have a great day everyone. If you’re on the beach this week, enjoy and safe travels. We all deserve time away from it all. Oh, and please put away those darn cell phones and disconnect. Enjoy your time with each other. Believe me the phones will work just fine when you get home. That’s my piece of travel advice. Hmm. Maybe I can be a travel agent in my next life?i

03/16/2024

Good Saturday morning everyone,
We hope that your weekend is off to a good start. I mean really ? It's the weekend!! Anyways, as many of you know we are heading out for a week, so why not stop by and treat yourself to some meat and Spinach Pies. We will sweeten the pot so to speak and give you 10% off of either a half dozen or dozen. While supplies last of course. Have a great day.

03/15/2024

Good morning. As we wind down the week before we let our bodies and minds (mostly bodies) rest for a week, I want to let you know what we have available for the next couple of days. Today, our fine crew baked up lots of meat and Spinach Pies to carry you through the week ahead. Also, we still have plenty of regular items including humous, baba ganoush, grapeleaves, bean salad and M'judra. Our off the menu items are somewhat limited so if you're looking for anything in particular give us a call. Today's soup is crushed red lentil. Have a great weekend everyone and if we don't see you enjoy your week. See you soon.

03/12/2024

Good morning everyone,
While Lyla,Lisa and Jaime prepare for the week ahead I would like to tell you about the items that we have available. First, Lyla has made some delicious pulled pork with a generous side of homemade potato salad. I'm no expert on pulled pork and potato salad, but you don't want to miss out on this one. Also, we have pea and lamb stew, lamb boats, tomato kibbee; a great Lenten dish and oh for dessert how about some of Lylas homemade rice pudding or some Vanilla with chocolate Muffins to go with a cup of your morning coffee.
Have a great day.

03/10/2024

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. THE DINNER FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13TH IS SOLD OUT. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
Did you remember to set your clocks an hour ahead early this morning? I figure that you’re either going to be an hour late for something or maybe it’s an hour early? I’m not sure what it is, but now that we are back to daylight savings time let’s just keep it that way. I for one enjoy the extra daylight. It makes sitting on my front porch or back patio smoking a cigar so much more enjoyable.
Last night Lyla and yours truly went to see the musical The Big Fish at Liggett last night. Since it’s our son Marks final performance of his high school career this afternoon, we have invited our respective family and friends to join us to cheer him on.
As I mentioned last week, this Wednesday, March 13th will be our final dinner before we take a week off from March 17th through March 25th. Dinners will continue, Wednesday March 27th. Looking back, it seems that every time we take one of our vacation breaks, the last dinner is always Lasagna. So you guessed it, who are we to break tradition, so how about joining us for ta da… Lasagna. Ok along with a pretty large chunk of Lasagna, you will receive a salad, bread and dessert for only $15.99. This meal will keep you full until we get back.
Just to let you know, it may be a bit before I respond to you. I have a lot going on early today, so I’m not quite sure when I’ll be back.
Have a great day and I’ll see you soon.
SOLD OUT. SOLD OUT.
