Spent the morning at the General Motors Lansing Grand River assembly plant with US Secretary of Energy (and former Michigan governor) Jennifer Granholm. She announced a $500 million grant from her department that will be used to help convert the facility to EV production.

In a previous life, I was almost exclusively a sports photographer and spent many games in the dugouts at Comerica Park, home of our Detroit Tigers. Last week, I returned to the park with my cameras to focus on fans and workers for the Tigers organization.

Shot my first commercial job in Maine last week. Our fantastic neighbors own the best restaurant on Mt. Desert Island and asked me to photograph it. Our home there has just a few weeks available to rent this summer. Book a stay and breakfast at Cafe2 is on us.

It was a fun afternoon in the D today photographing General Motors announcement it is relocating its headquarters from the Renaissance Center to Bedrock’s Hudson’s site on Woodward Avenue. The move will take place in 2025 and GM, Bedrock and the city will work together to redevelop the RenCen.
