The pandemic has hit our global economy harder than any time in our history. That also includes the flower industry. With events cancelled and warehouses not able to pay their rents, it's extremely difficult to source flowers. The flower supply chain is coming directly from Ecuador and Columbia. Due to lack of warehouses that home our beauties, flowers need to be ordered 2 weeks in advance. So many warehouses have closed due to the pandemic, and distributors are scheduling shipments by demand only. Flowers are perishables, so please help small businesses by placing orders early. Large companies like 1800-flowers and FTD have the purchasing power to get your flowers last minute, but the price will be at a premium and your just helping the pockets of the big companies!

It's no secret the coronavirus has hit small businesses hard, flower shops in Terre Haute are no exception.
