Hi everybody - Cal Fire burn permits are now required in the Capay Valley - burning is still permitted, but the Cal Fire permit must be obtained in addition to notifying our local dispatch. Let's get those piles knocked out!
CVFD has been pretty busy the last few days, and we had our first two grass fire calls of the season - both extinguished by the homeowners before we got on scene, but still, that's the starting bell for fire season as far as we're concerned!
