I have been a part of the wedding industry since 1996. I am a DJ, Ordained Minister, and Florida Certified Paramedic. I have had the opportunity to hone my skills as a wedding DJ from some of the finest entertainers in Northwest Florida, and I have developed, over the past 21 years, a system I refer to as the White Glove Treatment. What is the White Glove Treatment? White Glove Treatment is based
on the idea that the customer's satisfaction is my number one priority. One thing I've seen, over and over again, is that the difference between a good DJ and a great DJ is the willingness to go above and beyond the "job description." If you ask most people, a DJ at a wedding reception is the guy that plays the cheesy entrance music, the requests, and the chicken dance on cue, and makes a few announcements as needed. And that's fine, if that's all you're looking for. It's never been my policy to do the bare minimum. Let's start with appearance. Being ex-military, I don't believe in the scruffy, unkempt look. Unless you tell me otherwise, I show up at your reception in a tux, well-groomed. Speaking of showing up, Not only will I be on time, I'll be there at least two hours early--at no additional cost to you. When your first guests arrive, jazz is playing in the background, and I'm there to open the door for them, welcome them, and point out the hors d'ouevres, restrooms, and bar. When you and your wedding party arrive, I'll be waiting for you as well, and I'll get everyone in place for your grand entrance. A majestic song (of your choosing, or a popular standard) will accompany our announcement of your wedding party into the reception hall, followed by your grand introduction. Next, I will ensure that the dinner service goes smoothly, whether it's a buffet or a sit-down dinner, cocktails or heavy hors d'oeuvres. I'll be in constant contact with the catering staff and/or wedding planner to guarantee that everyone is properly prepared for the toast, cake cutting, first dance, and all other special events. I'll coordinate with the photographer and videographer to make absolutely certain that they don't miss that perfect photo opportunity...and I'll even try to help create some new ones on the dance floor. While we're discussing dances, you should know that I'm no wallflower. In fact, I love going out and mixing it up with your guests. Are there some out there who don't know the Electric Slide, the Cha-Cha Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, Swing, or Salsa? No problem! A little coaching, and we'll all be having a great time! When it finally comes time for you to leave, I'll make sure that everyone heads outside in enough time to see you off on your future life together.
