Marjorie Ann Renfro, 78, of Gurdon, AR passed away at her home Thursday, December 8, 2022. Funeral service is scheduled 230pm Sunday, December 11, 2022 the location is pending. Interment to follow at Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon, Arkansas, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.

Christmas open house today 1 o’clock till 4 o’clock!

On Thursday, December 1st we will have a first for us...a ribbon cutting for a "Hallmark Movie Set" which we have dubbed, Prancer's Plaza!

The night will be full of fun starting with the Arkadelphia Christmas Parade at 5pm. After the parade is finished up we will head back down toward Town Hall. In that wonderful parking lot that will be turned into Prancer's Plaza we will have a ribbon cutting, if everything lines up properly, then Town Hall will be lit by South Central Connect and that big ole Christmas Tree will light up as well!

After the ribbon has been cut, our wonderful sponsors of the storefronts will be out handing out goodies for everyone! There will be face painting and candy canes and hot chocolate and cookies and everything wonderful, including the people!!

The idea is to bring as many people to Arkadelphia as we can. The storefronts will be out all of December for photo opportunities. We will have another Christmas event on December 15th when we show the movie, Elf!
