Katrina is one of the symbols that best represents Mexico in the Day of the Dead festivities. It originated in 1912. It symbolizes the positive side of death. Where there is death, there was life. In this way, loved ones who are no longer with us can be remembered as if it were a celebration. A moment of reuniting with your ancestors does not have to be sad.
