There's nothing quite as pretty as the lavender fields in June at . Except mayybe when the cherry trees are peaking in early spring on the hillside just behind the pergola...

Many of my couples are booking eight to twelve plus months in advance, so don't wait if you're newly engaged to begin reaching out to vendors you would love to work with. This timeless wedding palette of black/white/champagne works any time of year but is especially beautiful for a springtime wedding with the mountain views and gardens setting the scene so so beautifully.

All the dreamy details for Sam & Matt on an early autumn's day.

We went all in with the textural detailings for this one...from the woven baskets lining the aisle...to the flower girls' ruffled tulle...to Sam's velvet bouquet ribbons...to the greenery dripping from the pergola... and those absolutely perfect pleats on the cupcake cosmos.

I don't know if Friday introductions are still a thing, but here we are....

Hi, my name is Carmen. 👋🏻 😄

I love flowers and weddings and brides, and putting all those together is one of my favorite things.

A few things about me that may (or may not) interest you...

🌼 I almost became a landscape designer, but while studying horticulture, learning the fundamentals of floral design was also one of the requirements. One thing led to another, and I completely fell in love with wedding floristry in particular and started to design for small weddings after graduating. Fast forward a few years with a move from the rural Midwest to Maryland, then my own wedding, and my husband and I decided it was time to actually DO the thing and open a flower studio. Now, I am lucky enough to be able to walk out my back door and to work every day.

🌼 Garden roses are unabashedly my favorite flowers. I have a growing collection of them and mostly favor all shades of pink and cream.

🌼 When I'm not gardening, sourcing flowers, or getting all the details organized for my next event, I'm probably baking bread, bottling my next batch of kombucha, or working through a new stack of children's books.
