Nestled atop Waimea Valley on the North Shore of Oahu, Sunset Ranch is one of the largest private estates on the island. The approximate 30 acre property, also known as Pu’u O Kolea (Plover Hill), is one of the most private, secluded areas on Oahu, with spectacular views of the northwest side of the island. Sunset Ranch’s elegant beauty, pristine views and gentle breezes make this special property

like no other. We’re pleased to share that Sunset Ranch has recently been protected with one of Hawaii’s first private conservation easements. The owner of Sunset Ranch, along with the North Shore Community Land Trust (NSCLT) and The Trust for Public Land (TPL), successfully raised funds for the purchase of the conservation easement from the Federal government’s Farm and Ranch Protection Program (FRPP), the State’s Legacy Land Conservation Fund (LLCF) and the City & County’s Clean Water and Natural land Fund (CWNL). To insure protection of this special property, an endowment fund was also established with private funding to support ongoing monitoring of the site. Now protected, Sunset Ranch has a focused mission of helping further land conservation and sustainability in Hawaii. With the assistance of NSCLT and NRCS, the owner of Sunset Ranch has voluntarily developed a conservation plan to make productive use of the property in ways that benefit the community, including opening the site for the following uses: (i) Events, (ii) Farming, (iii) Botanical Gardens, and (iv) Horsemanship programs. Our Courtyard Chapel 🤍

Clients not only have exclusive access to 6 venues to choose from at Sunset Ranch (1 or all 6); they also have exclusive access to two guest suites and our courtyard chapel - a favorite for hair and make up and bridal party photo shoots. Our Standard and Signature Packages are meant to provide prospective clients with a range of cost for a beautiful event at Sunset Ranch. Clients can book a Standard Package and upgrade (maybe add our Green Honu bar!), or they can book a Signature Package and downgrade. We work to customize events to your vision.

A Signature Package at Sunset Stables 🤍

Clients at Sunset Ranch have exclusive access to the estate for twelve hours. They have six venues to choose from. They can use one or all six. We host no other activity on their special day. They also have access to two guest suites and our courtyard chapel, a favorite for the ladies to get ready.

Our Signature Packages include our ten core elements along with all of the bells and whistles, including: upgraded coordination services, farm tables and a whole list of other upgraded materials, our Green Honu VW truck bar, an exquisite customizable menu with an added passed appetizer and action station for prime rib, desserts of their choosing, all bar service and food staffing, a robust budget of floral for their ceremony and reception, an officiant, live entertainment upon guest arrival and during cocktail hour, DJ services and a Photo Booth or cold sparks, and transportation to and from the venue.

Three things clients love about how we structure our comprehensive packages at Sunset Ranch:

1. Exact Head Count. We finalize to exact headcount. Sounds obvious but not something you typically see at hotels or other outdoor venues;

2. Customizations. We’re not rigid in terms of how we structure our packages. We want to meet client vision and budget as best we can.

3. Full Category Credits. We can credit elements in full so clients aren’t paying for something they don’t want or don’t need.
