A STORY BEHIND THE CAKE....

This cake was a request I was not expecting... she wanted a vanilla cake with a vanilla custard filling and whipped cream frosting, but I was asked to make it as beautiful as I could because this was going to be a womans "last cake". I was not expecting those words. It's hard to really make a cake with whipped cream frosting "beautiful" because of its consistency, but I did what I could and used her favorite color. Sometimes it's the simple things that brings out beauty!
The customer saw the cake and instantly burst into tears and gave me the biggest hug... she thought it was just perfect for her "Queen", her MOM.
