Well we have two weddings and a Memorial Day party this weekend. Do you have any holiday weekend plans?
We don't often boast about other vendors unless we're certain you won't be disappointed. Mikki Schaffner is a fantastic photographer with a unique perspective on everything she shoots. She does theater, head shots, new babies, weddings and more! If you would like to consider her for a wedding, I hope you get there early, she books up fast!

-I am a photographer, a mother, a wife, and a chocolate lover.
-I have a degree in photography, but it was almost a degree in Theatre (Stage Management to be exact.)
-I love to learn, including about those around me. If I ask a lot of questions please don't think I am weird. I really do want to hear about your kids. I love a good "how we became a family" or " how we fell in love" story.
- I think taking pictures is the best job in the world. I get to capture precious memories so that these memories can be relived time and time again. How cool is that?!
-I believe every child , every family, and every love is a reason to celebrate. No matter how you became a family - you did become a family. That is a reason enough to honor the love you share.
-I stress bake. Alton Brown's " The Chewy" is my go to recipe.

It's officially fall and there is only one evening left before we are on the straight shot to Halloween! What are some of your favorite Halloween tunes?
At a wedding reception last night, I had an interesting conversation with a little boy of about 8 years old.
Boy: Can you play (song)?
Me: I'm sorry, I don't have that one.
Boy: Thats ok, you can just pull it up on YouTube.
Me: I don't have the internet here right now.
Boy: Well then how do you have all that? *points to all our equipment*
This ended with me attempting to explain why the internet doesn't work everywhere. It was great, and had me giggling to myself for hours.
