To all of my TSB clients 💖

Building this business from the ground up has been an incredible journey. What began as a passion project transformed into a fulfilling venture, allowing me to stay home with my daughter and create cherished memories with all of you. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community and connect with so many incredible individuals along the way.

However, as the market evolved, I faced personal challenges maintaining the same level of passion and commitment I once had for the balloon industry. What once felt like a joyful endeavor began to shift towards a more demanding obligation that I no longer found joy in.

In light of these changes, I have made the difficult decision to close the business that has blessed me with so much!

This decision was not made lightly. I deeply appreciate the loyalty and support we have received from our customers, friends, and fellow small business owners. Each of you have played a significant role in our story, and for that, I am truly thankful.

While I will be concluding operations for TSB Balloons. I will still be taking limited Wedding & Event Coordination/ Party Planning events.

For those with bookings scheduled for 2025, rest assured that all orders will be fulfilled with the same love and care that has defined our work.

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. I look forward to new opportunities ahead, and I hope to carry the spirit of this community with me in all of my future endeavors.

I’m excited to highlight someone very special as I reintroduce the team! Many of you already know and adore my right-hand gal, Stephanie! She has been with me since 2021 and has been an invaluable asset to the success of TSB. I am incredibly grateful for her selflessness and support.

Stephanie is more than just a balloon artist; she’s my sounding board and has guided both me and the company through countless transitions, both good and challenging. She truly is the best teammate I could ever ask for. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie yet, you’re definitely missing out! She works incredibly hard and is one of the most generous people I know.

When she’s not working her balloon magic, Stephanie plays a vital role on the Aveda Esthetician team. She was an esthetician educator at the Aveda Hammond location for quite some time and is now the Assistant Director and Educator Coach at the Aveda Institute.

If you’ve experienced one of Stephanie’s balloon installations, you’ve seen firsthand her incredible talent and creative eye. I feel so blessed to call her not only my teammate but also one of my great friends! ✨

Ready to meet the person behind the balloons? ✨

Hey everyone! I’m Jerica, and it’s time for a little reintroduction! As a Hammond native, my journey has always been evolving around dance, creativity, and, of course, balloons!

I graduated from Ponchatoula High School and earned my degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. My passion before balloons was all things dance. I was a former member of the nationally ranked lionette dance team, UDA staff alumni, and from there, I went on to coach!

After college, I dove deep into the dance industry, managing territories for a large costume corporation and coordinating events for well-known dance competitions. But when COVID hit, the dance world came to an abrupt halt. Like many, I found myself on TikTok, and that’s when I stumbled upon an artist who inspired me to invest.

What started as a fun distraction turned into a full-blown passion. I had previously taught myself the ropes but thanks to a special artist, I eventually invested in training courses with talented balloon artists all over the country. Before I knew it, I was one of the first balloon artists in our area as events began to ramp up again. Fast forward to January, and I’ll be celebrating my 4th year in the balloon business!

When I’m not creating balloon installations, I’m a proud wife and mom to a beautiful daughter who shares my love for all things festive. I am also coaching the cheer and spirit team at Christ Episcopal School, blending my two passions—coaching and balloons!

✨ Have you ever felt like you’re drowning in the weight of your dreams?

Being raw and vulnerable is tough, especially when you’re a one-woman show juggling motherhood, a second job, and a passion project that means the world to you. The guilt can be overwhelming, and the internal battles can leave you questioning your worth and purpose. It’s a wild ride, isn’t it?

I recently attended an event that felt like a turning point for me. When I bought the tickets 6 months ago, my business was thriving, my mental health was in check, and everything seemed aligned. But as the date approached, I found myself battling with doubts and fears. “Will I even be in the right headspace? Do I deserve to be in a room filled with people who seem to be killing it while I feel stuck?”

I almost talked myself out of going because I felt like an imposter. But something pushed me to attend. And let me tell you, it was an emotional journey! The entire time, I wrestled with thoughts like, “I shouldn’t be here,” and “This doesn’t apply to me.” It was exhausting.

Then, a speaker shared a profound insight: “Business is a blessing and FAILURE IS A PRIVILEGE.” Wow! That hit home. I realized I was in that failure part of my journey where I need to either pivot or throw in the towel. It’s a hard place to be, especially when I’ve poured my heart into building this brand. But the truth is, every entrepreneur faces moments of doubt and uncertainty. BUT how you feel about yourself when you’re alone…WITH yourself, is the only thing that matters.

Here’s the thing: I know that not everyone has been “gifted the same vision” as I have. It’s okay to feel this way; it’s part of the journey. Let’s embrace this season as a privilege and trust that God has a plan for us, even when it’s challenging.

So here’s to letting this season be a privilege and allowing ourselves to be directed toward what’s next!
