Almost 3 years ago I decided to open a restaurant and cook barbecue food. I developed an amazing catering business and in this last season, I did more business than ever before. I would like to thank my staff and my family for all of their hard work.
If you guys follow me on Facebook, you know that I began this commercial cooking journey during Covid and showed you exactly how I did everything from start to finish. I showed you my meat smoking techniques and my Mr. Mule’s Cajun BBQ Rub. I tried to show how to build and open a restaurant and what it takes to make it successful. Well, I’ve done it and now I’m moving on.
I told you guys I have a lot of things I’d like to do and the restaurant really is very time-consuming. I’ve had lots of offers to take it over, but I finally decided to lease the business. It will no longer be Mr. Mule’s Kitchen. The new owners will be selling gyro sandwiches. They are very nice people and I will keep you up-to-date as to when they will be opening and what they will be serving. But I’m not quite done with food.
I will still be doing large catering events as I still have all of my catering equipment. I will no longer be doing day-to-day restaurant business. This is really an exciting day for me and my family because we will be able to spend more time together and I will be able to do more of the things I’ve been wanting to do without having to make more money to do it!
I’m also looking for sponsors for my outdoor adventure show and podcast. Thanks everyone for all of your love and support! It means the world to me!
