Don’t miss your chance to be among the first to step back in time to the 16th century, filled with epic entertainment, mouthwatering food, lively pubs, and unforgettable experiences! This first weekend is only days away—don’t let the chance slip by to be part of the magic! ✨ Gather your friends and family and start the season off with a bang. Along with major improvements to our site we find the time and space to support the youth in our local community. Today we have cub scouts camping in our parking lot, the LASAR search and rescue team using our village to train their search dogs (how to locate lost children and people with Alzheimer’s). Tomorrow a group of teens are meeting to play D&D (their choice: no smoke, no vape, no alcohol). Later this month the Rotary will hold the Shamrock Run, fundraiser and Crecent City qualifier. We don’t usually point out our community support, unless it’s to help them. (There is still time to register for the Shamrock Run, and join/volunteer for scouting).

Beginning the first November of every year, and lasting six consecutive weekends, the Louisiana Renaissance Festival creates the English "Village of Albright," with more than 600 artisans, entertainers and educational demonstrators welcoming you to the best parts of the 16th century: fun, clean, safe, and educational.

Albright has a magical ambiance: the atmosphere is adventurous, exciting and romantic. Choose from dozens of Professional Performers, more than 50 shows, and a plethora of demonstrations every day on a dozen stages. Search a hundred booths for unique handmade creations.
