Brick and mortar, Poppysea floristry
The who & the why:
I am kelsea, owner of poppysea. A mom of two littles who fell (quite hard) in love with florals when I was in the Army. I’ve always dreamt of having a floral shop in the quaint town of hammondport and have spent the last 6 years specializing in weddings and events, curating my style, raising a family and working towards this dream.
And that dream has come true, we are here and feeling so blessed. I could pinch myself repeatedly because this community has made our family feel so at home. Thank you for month one of poppysea floristry brick and mortar 🌲🤍
We removed layers of plaster and flooring to refinish and reveal a brick wall and stunning hardwood flooring, we added a vintage tile in a checkerboard pattern, wallpapered, sourced vintage light fixtures, painted a lot of things, danced, ate a few pb&js for dinner well past bedtime, our youngest practices walking and together they help mommy flower. A safe space where the community can collect, flower together and laugh. A place I want to exist forever.
What we offer:
Fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, holiday wraps filled with fresh blooms like sweet peas, peonies, anemones and unique colored roses in shades of terracotta, amnesia and creamy neutrals. Curated mercantile, home accents and textiles as well as dried assortments of lavender and everlastings.
To embrace sustainability and offer you the most abundant, eco-conscious blooms, we carefully curate a limited number of florals each week. By trusting us with a designer's choice selection, rooted in the rich hues of the season, you'll receive an exquisite, one-of-a-kind fresh floral experience. Each arrangement is crafted with intention and meaning—like in March, where you might find delicate lavender and peach tones, a nod to our grandmother’s love for all things lavender. These thoughtful touches ensure every bouquet tells its own story, just like yours.
We do offer delivery on our off days. Our hours for the winter seaso
