This is how I prepare my burger!

Only seasoned with a little butta oil, little salt & Pepper, and little bit of My Gurl and Me 'Mild Brazilian Steak Rub' and a slice of Gouda!

I thought of a sandwich, but I don't want anything hindering the subtle flavors of the beef and herbs & spices!

My taste buds AND my eyebuds are watering!

Later today, I'm going sear a few jumbo sea scallops in some butta & a little olive oil, seasoned with a dash of Old Bay for coloring, fragrance, and taste.

Man, those mushrooms smell good - slobber, slobber, slobbering! 😉😉😀😀❤️

The first photo is of Chips and Salsa. We buy the salsa by the pint. We would buy a larger container, yes, if you like mild salsa, this is a good one! The second row, on the left and right, is Maryland Crab Soup, the left, as served, on the right after mixing the cilantro - the garnish, and this is how I began to eat this fabulous soup. In the center is Seafood and Broccoli Alfredo. This was a delightful dish, with lots of crab, shrimp, and scallops along with a creamy alfredo sauce. The photograph is a bit misleading, this is a huge dish, enough for the dinner, lunch the next day, and perhaps a side dish for the next day's dinner! Of course, I'm a big eater, so it might not last that long! It is a great addition to the updated menu!

For dessert, I enjoyed a slice of Lemon-Berry Cake. The cake was delicious, as all of Salsa Grill's desserts are!

Broccoli/Cheddar Soup and 1/2 Italian Sandwich

Soup, not your average soup. The cheddar and the broccoli are fighting for dominance in a creamy, smooth base. My taste buds WIN! The sandwich is delightful: fresh sour dough, prosciutto, capicola, turkey, and pesto mayo!

Earlier today, after enjoying the Manhattan Special Float, my bride and I each had a sandwich, she had the Turkey Club and I had the Italian Sandwich. My wife really enjoyed her club sandwich and saved half for later this evening. I ordered the Italian Sandwich that has prosciuttini, capicola, salami, and provolone cheese, with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pesto mayo, both on sourdough bread. Delightful lunch on a mid-summer afternoon!

Note that Roccos is now open for coffee at 9 am, sandwiches begin at 11 am. I might just have to enjoy another Manhattan Special Float as I start my mid-morning break.

Top of the fine Friday morning!

It's 74° and 100% humidity at this hour!

I remember in my late teens, I was a construction instrument man on a construction site downtown. One summer, we had a string of 100° + temps in one week and loved it! No longer!

Enjoy your day, stay hydrated if you have to venture out into this hot, soupy weather. It is early July and these are a bit above average temps for this area but quite normal for this time of year.

This Thursday afternoon, the North Carroll Senior Actors Comedy Theatre and the Sing-Along Singers are presenting "Senior Moments". It's a fun time featuring original skits and singing some great songs. It is FREE to attend!
